It's so different than the days that I could breeze through the airport with just a carry on, but making the memories with her on those trips makes the hassle worth it. She's a pretty decent traveler too, probably because she flies often. No, not yet! Still thinking about whether we should just go somewhere on the East Coast or fly somewhere. Do you have a favorite beach?

Thank you for saying that! I do, but travel is a little hard these days with a two-and-a-half year old that comes with a co-parenting schedule. My hope is that we can take a little time to head out to the beach in the next few weeks, and that would be so lovely –– not to mention scratch my travel itch for a little while longer.

Oh wow that has to be different traveling, well rather make traveling different on all those levels. I hope you got to the beach recently though?

Ooh, now I'm even more intrigued! Now I regret asking for more detail because I'm itching at the thought of not knowing more. You're so talented at your craft and it helps that it translate into incredible shows and films. It's one of those things where it can be argued that the show or film is just that good, but I refuse to believe that. It's on the cast to really bring the vision to life and you do so flawlessly. You can take my word for it! Do you get any downtime this summer or are you on set for the rest of it?

I can say it's about an old crime lady named Joan and it's from the 80s. Sadly, you'll have to wait a while before you find out anythin' else. Aww, does it actually? That's so incredibly kind of ya. Love knowin' I make you smile a bit with my actin'. Meanwhile I cannot possibly look at my own actin'. That's what ya should do, honestly. Find all the places you can possibly find and cross it off your bucketlist. A mental check off map if you will.

Traveling with her is the best! While she might not remember every little detail of the trips, I'll remember them forever. It just gets tricky with the schedule of when she's supposed to be with her dad. Especially now when she's still little and doesn't quite understand why he's not living with us anymore. I don't ever want to deprive her of that time with her dad. It is! Does it make me an awful mom if I admitted to liking a day or two to myself? It was weird at first, but I've gotten used to it a little more. Still miss her like crazy when she's gone for a few days, but I don't cry myself to sleep anymore when she's not there. Puglia is high up on my list. Do yourself a favor and Google the cave restaurant. It looks to be one of the most beautiful views this world has to offer and it's a dream of mine to go one day. If you get to it before me, you have to let me know if it lives up to what I'm envisioning!

Who says you can't travel with a child? Make some cute little memories with her. Having some you time is nice, though, I'm sure. Having little you vacations where you can relax and not worry about anything. Just having a good time and maybe getting a tan. I've only really been to Capri, but I'd love to explore other parts of Italy as well. It's on my travel bucketlist to hit as many spots in Italy as I can.

That, and I'm a stickler for a schedule so I don't do well with the inevitable delays that come with traveling. Only when I'm working, though. Otherwise, I lose track of time quite easily. Doing your best is what counts. That family time will be something they remember forever, even if they seem too young to even do so. Mint is only two-and-a-half but I swear she's happier when both her dad and I are a constant in her days –– which makes my heart hurt even more in some aspects. You've been living in Miami? Major props to you because every time I go to Miami for a weekend, I need a three week detox. Please share your secrets on surviving there full time.

It really does, because when it's just for fun then your entire body and brain can relax. When it's for work, your brain won't stop no matter what you do because you're just thinking of a million different scenarios and things to do. It's definitely hard, but we're making it work and I'm spending as much time here as I can before my tour starts next month. Italy is probably a favorite place of mine that I've traveled. I think living in Miami for the last few years has me leaning more towards cold vacations so that I can going snowboarding or skiing as much as I can.

London is such a cool town, though! Did you get to enjoy it while she was filming or did you go on set every day? More importantly, did you get some time to enjoy the city together? Oh, isn't that both the best and worst feeling? Cape Town looks like such a cool place and I've only heard great things. From the sound of it, I need to bump it closer to the top of my list!

It is officially that time of year where I am envious of everyone’s gorgeous European vacations, especially those traveling to Italy and Greece. While I’ve been lucky enough to travel all over the world, my time spent in other-worldly countries has mostly been for work where down time is minimal and relaxation is non-existent. Where is the most beautiful place you’ve ever been so I can add it into the mix of locations to choose from when I finally have the chance to travel for fun? @cityofdreamsstarters

The only place I traveled to recently was London to be with my fiancee while she was filming. The most beautiful place I ever visited though was probably Cape Town. I was lucky enough to travel to some really picturesque places when I was in Panic, and Cape Town was my favorite. I left a piece of myself there.

You haven't? As glad as I am to know that I'm not alone in that boat, I'm also so sad for you! Do you think you'll have any time before the end of the year to travel for leisure? At least you have work to blame it on! Work has slowed down for me a lot in the last few years, but it's not something I'm mad about. What's the place at the top of your travel bucket list?

You and me both, I only really travel for filming, photoshoots, or other work-related things. I haven't gone on an actual vacation for myself in a while, but the last place I visited was Venice, Italy. It was for work, but I was there for a week or two, and even though I couldn't get out and do much, it was still a beautiful place that I'd love to go back to soon and really take it in. We're both overworked queens who need a vacation.

It's a blessing and a curse, isn't it? Germany is one of my favorite places! The people are so friendly and you're right –– the landscape feels like something out of a fairytale. Have you gotten to see Neuschwanstein Castle? It was the inspiration for Sleeping Beauty's castle and I'm dying to do a princess vibe-y shoot there one day, even if it's just me hiring a photographer to make it happen.

I’ve found myself overseas a lot more than I could have ever imagined due to work. I feel like I’ve spent at least half my year over there the past 3 and for whatever reason, germany is where I’ve ended up the most. In the spring and summer, they have the most gorgeous landscapes I’ve seen yet. The mountains and valleys look like ghibli films come to life and the hot springs are a joy.

It's not so bad at first. Usually it's a really grand palace-type of building or a cute little farmhouse in the countryside, but being trapped in the same room for hours on end causes the shine to dull very quickly. You said it best! That's the stuff I love when traveling. Sure, the hot spots are fun to visit but when I travel, I want to feel like a local –– so send all the hidden gems my way! Really? I had no idea that the recording equipment was that portable. Did you purposefully record your more sultry songs in your bedroom for the vibes? Or is it a convenience thing?

For sure! Not to mention that when I’m there for work, it’s usually a gorgeous backdrop but I’m stuck on set for hours and only get to see what’s around me. Which is better when it’s an outdoor set, because indoor ones become a little stuffy after a while. You’ll have to give me all the good recommendations for both Capri and Jamaica, because I’m determined to get to both soon. Really? It’s an insane album so it must be a creative paradise! Have you written your other albums in cool locations as well?

An indoor set in Italy would be a crime, I reckon. Too beautiful to be behind closed doors. You can count on me! Big fans of both, you really can’t go wrong with what you explore but I do have some hidden gems up my sleeve. Not as secluded as that one, no, but a bit on the road, a bit in my bedroom... I think only one of those classifies as a cool location.

Is it at least a desert in a fun location? That surely has to be better than a desert in a not-so-ideal location. Ooh, yes! I've been to Venice a few times! Personally, it's not for me but I think everyone needs to visit at least once because it truly is unlike anywhere else I've ever been. Do you have plans to go back soon?

You and me both! I’ve been stuck in the desert for filming for a while now and while it’s amazing here, I wouldn’t say no to some travelling. But then again working at an amazing place is always pretty brilliant too. Most beautiful place? That’s a tough choice. Going with the classic Venice. But I’m sure you’ve been there.

If only American food was like European food. I swear, if you were eating this anywhere else in the world you would be totally fine! Where are you? I want to Google pizza places near you that import the ingredients directly from Italy! There was one near my first apartment in the city and it was so nice!

Of course it was delicious! It was pizza! And I only felt slightly crappy and only for a little bit. I've got all my defenses on deck. Tums, Pepcid, water, you name it, I've got it. Nothing will stop me from consuming my beloved cheese!

Very demanding, but also very cute! How old is yours? Mint is two-and-a-half and I'm always looking for little friends for her to have playdates with! See, now that is what dreams are made of! I love seeing all the photos of girls on Instagram posing on the blue roof in a pretty, flowy dress. It's such an iconic visual that I haven't gotten the chance to do my own spin on yet.

If only it were that easy! My little boss is the one who controls my schedule these days and she’s tough to plan around! We just moved back to the States this past winter so I’m excited to experience summer in the city again, even if it entails more trips to the park and less hungover mornings. Ooh, Greece is stunning but Morocco is somewhere I can see myself enjoying very much. Do you have a favorite time of year to go visit?

Your little boss and mine need to take some meetings because they sound very demanding. Where are you living now? Summer is the prime time to visit Greece. Every time I do, I’m surrounded by white buildings and crystal blue waters and that will always be the summer aesthetic to me.
