The next day was Sunday, Billy had to work but I had the day off so invited Evan round. We played chess and talked, it was nice. Logan Steele.

On Friday evening we caught up on some chores. But Saturday! Look at that phone and bright lights! We also bought some new sofas and paintings for the walls. But best of all we bought a TV. We haven't actually watched anything on it yet, we're having trouble finding a station, but we just like to sit and look at it. Logan Steele.

Friday was a big day. Billy was promoted back to Vice Squad and I was promoted to General Pracitioner. Billy is excited to get back into plainclothes again but I'm a bit worried about working as a GP and not in a hospital, I'm sure it will be fine. With all these promotions we have a healthy bank balance now, I can't wait until the electric is connected and we can buy a fridge or a TV. Logan Steele.

I got another promotion and another bonus. I'm a resident now, which means working a late shift, but it's shorter hours so I am not complaining. Evelyn came round to see Billy but he was at work. I am not proud of myself, I may have flirted with her, well, maybe a bit more tham that. It was a bit awkward that evening when Billy came home. He doesn't know about me and Evelyn and looked a bit confused when I brought up Couples Counselling. Maybe I'll not mention it again. Logan Steele.

The next couple of days were busy, I was working longer hours but I had new green scrubs which looked good with my red hair so I was getting lots of compliments from the female staff at work. Billy was demoted back to desk sergeant, probably because he hasn't caught the burglar yet, I mean, how hard can it be in a small town like The Project? He's been seeing Evelyn too, this could end in tears, I'm pretty sure she has a thing with Lucas. Logan Steele.

I was promoted to Intern today! No more night shifts, yeah! I was given a TraumaTime "Incision Precision" Surgical Training Station to practise on, I think Billy has been messing around with it, you wouldn't believe the junk I found in there. Next promotion here I come! Logan Steele.

Thea has been spending a lot of time at our house. She hasn't been getting on with Finn and they have been fighting, a lot. I hope Billy doesn't invite her to move in with us, this is supposed to be a party pad! At least it will be once we get some music and maybe a bar. Logan Steele.

While I was waiting on the carpool, I wandered over to the lake. It's a weird green colour and seems to glow at night. That must be minerals the governement is so interested in. Hopefully they will bring a lot of money to The Project once they get the mines up and running. Logan Steele.

The start of week 3 has been very up and down. I was promoted last week to nurse, then my first day at work I was demoted back down to paramedic. Next day they promoted me to nurse again! I don't know what is going on with the management at the city hospital. I can't wait until I am fully qualified and can open the hospital here in The Project. Logan Steele.

With my wages I had placed a furniture order from the city and it arrived at the weekend too. I now have a shower with hot water! And a new sofa so my friends all have a seat when they come to visit. I'll finish up my diary there as I have to head off for my first day as a Lobbyist, don't I look smart in my new suit? Evan Murray.

The next day was Saturday, Billy was out for a walk and I invited him in for breakfast. I told him about my promotions and we had a little celebration. But the best thing that happened this weekend was we finally got the mains electric and water connected. Thea had finished studying her engineering course and had spent most of the week working on this. And tonight I was trying to write in my diary when the lights came on! Evan Murray.

I knew the next day would be another long one so I got up early to weed and water the garden, and brush up on my speechmaking, just in case. I didn't have to make any speeches but I obviously impressed them as I got another promotion! I am now a Lobbyist, which involves a lot of arse kissing, lol. I'd better brush up on my schmoozing. My first day at work was a long one. I was knocking on doors and cooing over babies for hours! And with the commute to the city too, it was a very long day. I went straight to bed as soon as I got home. Oh, I forgot to day, I got a promotion! I'm now an Intern, apparently the job description is gofer and general dogsbody. Evan Murray.

And the very next morning I was reading the newspaper and saw the town hall was complete! I was so excited! I phoned up city hall and they said I could start work tomorrow. But I was disappointed to learn I would be starting as a campaign worker. As mayor-to-be I assumed I would become the mayor, but no, I have to work my way up through the ranks and learn how to run a town from the bottom up. It makes sense I guess. I kept myself busy and had an early night so I would be all set for work tomorrow. Evan Murray.

Next day I had visits from Ana and Thea. It was nice but I really need to get a job! I wish they would hurry up and complete the town hall renovations. Evan Murray.

It's the start of week 3 in The Project. And I must explain, time here isn't the same as time back in the city. Well, it might be, it just feels different, and days seem to last forever. But maybe it just feels that way because we are cut off from reality here? I don't know, I just thought I'd try and explain just in case you were thinking all that couldn't have in one week!

Anyway, week 3 started with a visit from Lucas. I like him but I;m not sure if I just was us to be good friends. Evan Murray.

I want to end this week on a high note. Maisie got herself a job! She's working in the law career. Apparently Ana got a promtion and they were looking for someone to fill her old position. And saving the best to last, I have completed the engineering course! I am off to find Evan and tell her the good news! Thea Currie.
