I’m gonna have Jerome sell contraband in this fic and I was GOING to have that include stuff like alcohol, cigarettes, and sexy magazines, but when I looked up “boarding school contraband” for research lots of these lists also included things like mini fridges and microwaves and candles so I’m wondering if it would be funnier if Jerome just sold illicit appliances

I’ve always thought eddie was a massive mama’s boy and I’m so glad we’re on the same wavelength.

personal headcanon: eddie miller is totally a momma’s boy

we don’t hear a LOT about her (which, judging by what we see from most of the on-screen parents, means they probably have a good relationship). and like, you know, it was just the two of them for basically his whole life. no siblings, no other parent. just mom. and unless he grew up HATING her (which he clearly doesn’t), they’re gonna have a fairly strong relationship. and yeah he calls her boring at one point but do you really think any teen is admitting being close with his mom? absolutely not, especially one trying to pull the cool, tough-guy act. he’s definitely covering that shit up to try and look cool and aloof

also no 17/18 year old boy is calling his mother across the ocean and asking her for advice on how to set up a romantic picnic date unless he’s a complete momma’s boy
