And this is epic! Imagine Hank is the leader of Jericho (or teamed up with them), but he and Connor are on opposite sides of the barricades. They love each other, but are forced to fight against each other. 

And what an irony: the human is on the side of the androids, and the android is on the side of the humans. They have reasons for doing this, they are sure they are doing it right.

Spoiler: they will still be together, because it cannot be otherwise.

Markus hugging Connor from behind and just melting into the hug, Connor of course leaning into it.

Connor tense, standing at a window, cold and still dressed in the wrinkled button-down from a long day of leading Jericho’s security team and keeping Markus constantly in his line of sight. It’s exhausting and he’s still all riled up from the work.

Markus coming up behind him, wrapping his arms around him and pressing his palms firmly against Connor’s sternum, where he can feel the life thrumming under his hands.

It takes a moment, but eventually he feels Connor’s synthetic muscles loosen and Connor leans back into Markus’s chest, pressing his cheek into his boyfriend’s throat.

If you told me one year ago that I would be in this fandom today, I would have laughed. Oops. Now I’m stuck. 🤣🤣 At least I’m here with all of you awesome people. So happy one year anniversary to all of us, mainly, and not to David Cage.

Nines: Don’t know. Gender.exe is still booting.

hate to be one of those people, but the fact that hank turned to the traci and flustered about him and connor not being “together together” is all the proof i need to know hank has thought about it at least once

Before enrolling in the academy, Gavin had a dance scholarship to uni. That’s right, dance. He had never been the tallest guy out there, but he was quick, lithe and had one damn good sense of rhythm.

It’s a little known fact about him, he still dances as a sport but no longer competes and likes variety over absolute perfection of one style.

After the revolution, android nightclub start to crop up. Of course there’s a case involving red ice with one of them but they don’t allow humans in. So it falls to Connor and Nines to go in undercover. The only problem is, since CyberLife fell, they’ve not been able to access/download extra skills so they have to learn the traditional way.

No way was Fowler going to shell out money on a teacher when Gavin can do the job just fine so they find themselves down the gym one afternoon, windows blacked out. Gavin doesn’t like an audience really, and he’s not looking forward to teaching two androids in one afternoon what he spent almost his whole life honing.

At first it’s laughable. Nines is wooden while Connor flops around like an eel - at least he’s got enthusiasm. Gavin starts with the very basics. Just swaying to the music, maybe stepping side to side in time with the beat. It’s a bit less disastrous as the first song ends. By the second one Connor is a little less likely to flail and hit people in the face with his arms but Nines is still very stiff.

It takes Gavin wrapping Nines’ arms around his shoulder and his own around Nines’ waist to show him how to move. Because of the height difference he misses the smug smirk Nines shoots Connor. But he does see Connor’s elated smile and eye roll in return. Gavin elects to ignore it.

Two hours later Connor asks for a break, saying his processors need a moment because they’re overloading. Plus Hank is lingering outside and he wants to check in with the man. Gavin waves him off and even agrees that Hank could come in and watch, maybe even serve as a prop if they’re going to get the two androids dancing like they should do in a club.

But it does give him a precious few minutes with Nines who looks elated.

“Show me a slow dance,” Nines asks but it’s more of a command and Gavin is more than happy to comply.

When Hank and Connor walk it, they find Nines and Gavin gently swaying, taking light steps in a gentle waltz and Nines is actually leading.

“Told you,” Connor mutters to Hank.

The song ends and Gavin is looking a little flushed but it doesn’t matter. He has a new idea. Connor needs to learn to twerk and grind. If he demonstrates on Nines how to do it, Connor could practice on Hank. It’s the best idea he’d ever had, especially when Nines twigs just how to dance back, without any instructions. Almost like he knew how to dance all along.
