Bobby Sherman is being held for ransom. In addition to setting a bomb that will go off at 6 PM, the kidnapper ties a string to one of Sherman's fingers so that if he struggles too much it will set off the bomb. He eventually gets free of the string, but remains tied up until Erskine and his men rescue him.
