Day 4. Insomnia continues. This time because we didn't play with her enough before bed. She is being good. May be time to go the make shift bed skirt route and take away the challenge while still removing the biggest boon of the space (able to peek and see what is going on) may need to delay that until I can get her a puzzle toy. She has too much brain energy to burn and I hadn't prepared for that. I was planning on either and adult cat or a kitten that still is enriched by figuring out how to be alive, both would give me a small buffer in buying highly engaging toys. But this is a teenager. This is a teenager and if I don't put her in sports she's gonna do drugs.

Chani and I have fought the second war of underbed attraction. This time I did turn to dirty tricks. I trapped her under the bed (she had squirmed through a barricade so she needs to learn not to do that, also) until she regretted it just enough to be pathetic. Then I made sure she saw me put back what I had moved to free her so she knows It Does Go There And this wasn't a Mistake. Hopefully now she knows if she has to squeeze she might not be able to get back out and that isn't very fun.
