when autumn arrives i always get super excited because i finally get to use all the herbs from my garden that have been drying for the last two months. i typically use my herbs for homemade bath and beauty products, but herbs also have many medicinal, aromatic, and spiritual properties we can use to improve our mood and wellbeing. 

a dream sachet, filled with a specific blend of herbs and flowers, can be used to enhance your dreaming or improve dream recall. dream sachets (or pillows) have been used for centuries to encourage vivid and meaningful dreaming, peaceful slumber, and relief from nightmares. today we know that the smell of herbs, flowers, and essential oils can have a positive effect on our mental health, our ability to combat anxiety, and our sleep.

today i’ll be showing you guys how to make your very own dream sachet! i like to hang mine near my bed to experience its soothing fragrance and energy whenever i go to sleep. these make great gifts for friends and loved ones as well ♡

try this blend for a relaxing, peaceful sleep and enhanced dreaming:

♡ lavender: soothing, relaxing and eases headaches. ♡ rose petals: encourages feelings of warmth and love. ♡ chamomile: calming and said to keep bad dreams away. ♡ mugwort: enhances lucid dreaming and improves dream recollection. is also used for protection to ward off nightmares. ♡ lemon balm: known for its ability to reduce anxiety and insomnia, also valuable for relieving headaches and stress. ♡ hops: enhances peacefulness, healing, and relaxation. ♡ peppermint: enhances clarity and vividness in dreams. ♡ rosemary: used to encourage deep sleep and keep away bad dreams. ♡ optional: 1-5 drops essential oil of your choice, try lavender or rose!

combine all the herbs (one part of each) in a bowl and mix with a wooden spoon. you may want to add just a sprinkling of rosemary instead of a whole part. you may also choose to add a few drops of an essential oil of your choice. scoop the herbs into your sachet. if you’d like, you can charge your sachet with a little meditation, or by also placing a crystal inside. sweet dreams loves ♡
