And there goes my last reason to do anything with tumblr. Byebye tumblr~

On December 3, 2018 tumblr announced their intention to remove all adult content from any blogs contained therein. While this decision doesn’t interfere terribly much with my activities there was an avalanche of outcry among the users of the platform that brought some perspectives of the decision that I certainly can agree with.
Most of you who are followers of mine are actually fans of Steve Argyle, like me. I have been a member of the tumblr community for only the last six years and in that time created a fan club for Steve’s many avid collectors. It was a lot of fun.
However, I must concede that tumblr has taken a position that is simply against the interests of creative expression and one of the pillars of art. This simply will not do. I have decided to join the protest on December 17. On that day all of my blogs will be shut down for good.
Now I want to point out something important. Ascended Minion Project will continue. It does not have a clear future yet (although it seems likely that facebook will be its future home) but keep an eye on the Sketch ‘n’ Skotch group on facebook for updates. Activities for Ascended Minion Project will not be taking place their but there is a lot of fan overlap so I will make the occasional announcement there.
The Gathering Steve Argyle’s Magic blog may be recreated in another platform in the future, but it will probably be a wiki instead of a blog.
It has been a lot of fun. Thank you to Steve, Kat, and all of the Minions who helped me make something special. I hope it will live on!

Let me know what you need! Not sure if i have what you want, but am willing to purchase them if thats easier. If im purchasing a card to trade, it saves me some shipping if we skip me as middle man. But let me know, really want 1 of each!
Mistborn
So I almost finished the first of the mistbron trilogy. Now I really need the gencon 50 vin tokens @steveargyle made. Does anyone have some spares?

Wanted to post this sunday when i bought it, but forgot. Thought it was very expensive for a "just to collect" card. Figured i should post it since it kinda quadrupled in price overnight. I am truly in love with the use of purple here.

On our last day in Japan we went to Kaiyukan, one of the largest aquariums in Japan. Here they have 2 whale sharks and several manta rays which I haven’t seen before in my live. It was a great experience to see these gentle sharks up close.

The last adventure in Kyoto was going to Nara. Over here the deer walk around everywhere, and once they see food you better start running.

As one of the last days we wanted to check out the aquarium we found on our first day here. I wasn’t expecting all that much but in the end it was a pretty awesome aquarium. The dolphin show was fun and the other animals were all viewable up close. I will make another post about this tomorrow since my phone died halfway through the aquarium and the other pictures are on another device.

After monkey mountain we visited the bamboo forest and some of the shrines located near it. As this was our last day with Stef we climbed the daimonji. On top you had the best view of Kyoto. We went in the evening to see all of the city lights and this is by far the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

This day shall be called monkey day. Or not since we also did a lot of other stuff. But yeah… We climbed to the top of the mountain to watch and feed the monkeys that live there. Pretty cool to see.

As all the Sakura was falling off we went to the Philosophers path to see the very last few of them and of course to have a nice walk to clear our minds :)

Yasaka shrine was our last stop for the day which was totally lit up at night. There were food stalls everywhere and people picnicking/drinking with friends in the park.
