"Awe, c'mon! It's a Christmas tradition!" he teased, stepping down from the ladder and placing his hands on your waist.

Requested by: @edgessunflower ————————————————————After a long day at work filled with people yelling, projects being thrown at you, and endless stress, you just want to go home and relax. Sliding your feet towards the front door, you push it open and are greeted by a clean living room and kitchen. A sigh of relief washes over you as your husband, Adam, comes towering down the stairs. "Hello, beautiful. How was work today?" he asks.

You groan and roll your eyes. "I don't even want to talk about it. I hated it, like always. I want to quit, Adam," you say, getting slightly emotional. He walks over and wraps his arms around your waist. "Shhh, it's okay. You don't have to work for the next two days. Just relax," he reassures you.

You wrap your arms around his back and relax into the feeling of his embrace and the comforting scent of his cologne. Adam gently guides you to the couch, where you both sit down. He hands you a warm cup of tea he had prepared earlier, knowing exactly what you need to unwind. As you take a sip, the warmth spreads through you, easing the tension of the day. Adam starts massaging your shoulders, his touch soothing and reassuring.

"You know, we can always figure something out if you're really unhappy. Your well-being is the most important thing," he says softly. You nod, feeling grateful for his support and understanding, and slowly begin to feel the weight of the day lift off your shoulders.

Adam then stands up and takes your hand, gently pulling you to your feet. "Come on," he says with a soft smile, "let's get you cleaned up. A nice, warm shower will help you feel better." He leads you to the bathroom, turning on the water to the perfect temperature. You step in, and the hot water cascades over you, washing away the stress and fatigue. Adam stays nearby, making sure you have everything you need. As the steam envelops you, you start to feel a sense of calm and relaxation, knowing that Adam is there to take care of you.

The shower curtain opens, and you turn to see Adam stepping in with you. "Come here, my love," he says, wrapping his arms around you. He gently runs his fingers through your hair, the warm water cascading over both of you. "I love you... you know that, right?" he whispers into your ear. You smile and rest your head on his shoulder, feeling the comfort of his embrace. One of his hands trails down to rub the lower part of your back, soothing away the last remnants of tension. The combination of the hot water and Adam's tender touch makes you feel truly at peace, and for a moment, all your worries seem to wash away.

You close your eyes, savoring the moment as Adam's touch becomes more tender. He tilts your chin up gently, and you open your eyes to meet his loving gaze. "You mean everything to me," he says softly, his voice filled with sincerity. You can feel the love and care in his every word and gesture. He leans in and kisses you, The steam from the shower envelops you both, creating a cocoon of intimacy and comfort.

The kiss getting deeper and more intense, you wrap your arms around his neck pulling him closer. His strong arms wrapping around your waist pulling you closer as if that’s possible. His hands coming to rest on your sides he slightly dips and grabs your face to deepen the kiss. He breaks the kiss pulling back and looking at you up and down “you’re so beautiful, how about you finish up in here and I’ll go make our bed and we can cuddle and relax and just watch a movie or something” you smile at him and nodding “sounds good” he turns to leaves and you grab his hand, interlocking your fingers “I love you” his heart melting, his face lights up “I love you too…”
