Day Four - a life changing revelation I had as a teenager actually came from my grandmother. She told me to buy and wear all of the dresses I like, collect pretty books if it’s what makes me happy and to see the world at any cost. She said it’s better to do that then the feel the same pain she has at 70. She didn’t have money as a teenager but loved fashion and had wanderlust. As an adult she had some money but it all had to go to savings and now she has the savings but just doesn’t have any interest in pretty dresses or leaving her town. Her philosophy is to enjoy your life while you’re young, because youth is not something you can acquire later in life.
