I fucking hate Mattel sometimes dude.
Why are they releasing so many dolls SO close together???
First The Creprodutions, Operetta and The Creature in the same month and now the Addams Family two pack not even a month after?? Jfc
-
I know The Creature came out on the anniversary of the movie and the Addams two pack is for Mother’s Day, so they can’t do much about those release dates obviously.
But they should’ve released Operetta and The Creeproductions at a later time at least.

Thinking about the haircut I gave my Twyla doll when I was younger because I thought it would be cool and the potential it could have if the hair didn't have glue seepage and wasn't cut by a literal child 💀

i love how monster high is all like “come as you are! you’re beautiful and enough no matter your claws, scales, or freaky flaws!” and ever after high is “we must tear down this fascist institution that has been forced on us for generations encouraging compliance and tradition because choice is a vital right everyone deserves, no matter how bad people say they are, because morality was invented by the cruel system which drives us apart from our friends and curses us to unfair, miserable lives”

So while making my Draculaura AMV I stumbled upon this moment & I realized if there had been a loose piece of wood on that telephone poll, G2 would have been a LOT shorter!

I have this kind of headcanon where Draculaura and Cleo develop a friendship based on being ex-human. They realize they share the same deep sadness and longing for their human lives when they bump into each other at the park, where they happened to both go people-watching.
After months of feeling restless and out of place in the monster world, Cleo decides to leave. Draculaura reluctantly joins her. They use some of Cleo's riches to get an apartment in the human world. But they can't reclaim their lives. They can't return to their own times. They still try to make it work.
Cleo works her way up from a museum docent to the head of the Egyptology department. Of course, she's very particular about how the artifacts are treated and displayed. She's known to have quite the temper with museum guests too. She accidentally curses a man who tried to touch a sarcophagus. The man turns to dust that night in his sleep. She's not sure if she even feels bad about it.
Draculaura becomes a night-shift nurse at the local hospital. She cares about the sick and feels like their guardian in the night. She also knows where all sorts of infusions are stored...including blood. Sometimes a bag goes missing. Nothing ever intended for a patient of course, just some excess that nobody will notice. She's very careful about it. For now.
They both realize they made a mistake. They try their best to ignore it out of stubborness. They can make it in the human world. They're practically still human, right? Let's just keep going and hope it doesn't blow up in our faces.
