I just watched the Billy Joel episode of Glee, and my my it hasn’t aged well. Especially the insistent nature of Ryder’s character asking Marley out, the sheer irony of Ryder singing “Innocent Man” to Marley(whilst the other characters appear uncomfortable). And according to Melissa this is the early part of the their relationship when it became abusive. Boy it is just a whole lot of yikes.

Hey everyone,

It has been a while since I posted but since I have been a Melissa Benoist fan since 2012, I think I should speak out in terms of recent events.

I am absolutely heartbroken that Melissa has gone through such a horrible time in her life and now is at a point that she can move forward and heal. Like she said domestic violence is too common place and we should do anything to change the statistics. Anyone in a similar position should call help and try to get out of a relationship that compromises his/her wellbeing.

The thing is during this period 2013-2014, some of the glee fans including myself knew at the end of season 4 and beginning of season 5 that something was off and her behaviour changed from when she first started on the show. She seemed more withdrawn from the cast (no one from the cast wished her a happy birthday on social, when it was commonplace for them to do so), barely engaged with any of her male costars even Jacob who was her love interest, the only person she was always photographed with was with her abuser, the clothes she wore out (not at events) were less conforming than the ones she wore prior to them dating, her romantic storylines seemed to drastically change and shift (or barely getting any romantic scenes post glee). She also said she was criticised for dancing with a male co-star on a birthday (which could be Jacob whilst they were on glee).

At first it didn’t register as red flags but just weird behaviour. And considering there were so many people who were empassioned fans of the relationship (i mean they were a good looking couple on the surface), I dared not to criticise this very odd behaviour, and out of fear that I would be attacked by fans for being too judgemental. I kept my mouth shut.

I think now in light of recent events a lot of the things occurred explains her behaviour. If any of you see someone change their behaviour dramatically in a short period of time- ask them, are you ok? It is never too late to ask for help- life is too short to be stuck in a horrific situation like this.

According to Kanawha County Deputy Sheriff’s, actress Naya Dorsey (formerly Naya Rivera) has been arrested on assault charges.

It is unclear at the moment as to if it is domestic assault charges, due to the fact the victim was her husband.

Dorsey and her husband, Ryan Dorsey, allegedly got into an argument and she physically assaulted him.

Our sources also tell us that Mr. Dorsey recorded the entire incident along with the 911 call.

Mrs. Dorsey is currently on her way to Kanawha County Magistrate Court to be arraigned on these charges.

Actor Mark Salling has struck a plea deal in his child pornography case.

The Glee star pleaded guilty Wednesday to possession of child pornography involving a prepubescent minor and will be sentenced to four to seven years in prison, according to court documents obtained by The Blast.

Federal investigators say they found more than 25,000 images and 600 videos depicting child pornography on computers and thumb drives that belonged to Salling. The content depicted children as young as 3 years old being abused, according to court documents.

Salling, 35, has to register as a sex offender and enter a treatment program; have no verbal or electronic contact with anyone under the age of 18; stay 100 feet away from schools, parks, public swimming pools, youth centers, playgrounds and arcades; and pay $50,000 in restitution to each victim, according to the documents.

Salling was arrested in December 2015 after investigators said the laptop, a hard drive, and a USB flash drive seized from his residence allegedly contained thousands of images and videos depicting child pornography. (His former girlfriend called police, according to the court documents.) In May 2016, he was named in a two-count indictment alleging he received porn involving young girls. But the trial was delayed that June as he sought new legal representation.

He played jock Noah “Puck” Puckerman on the hit Fox show from 2009-15. He did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
