Their work includes the Eisner award-winning FRIZZY, with epic queer fantasy graphic novel GUTLESS currently in the works. When not making or reading comics, they can be found playing fantasy video games or tending their troublingly large collection of houseplants.

ShortBox Comics Fair is an innovative all-digital, online comics fair that takes place annually every October, with over 150+ participating artists from around the world each debuting an all-new, original comic!

‘Manuel’ - Rodrigo (Rodrigo Muñoz Ballester)

‘Manuel’ was showed in the 1983 edition of ARCO, Madrid’s contemporary art fair. It was deemed “the first gay sculpture at the fair” and caused some commotion in Spain’s cultural scene. The artist, Rodrigo, made this sculpture based on a man he met and fell in love with at a public pool in 1976.
