Am I a whatnow?!

So yesterday when I was on the bus to work, a guy got on and was listening to his music without headphones. (There’s a special place in hell for people who do that...) I looked up and gave him a look, since I was reading, and he glanced back at me, so I put the book up to get the point across. He missed the point and said, “I was just admiring your piercings, don’t hide them!” That made me want to just hide them even more, since I got them for myself, not others.

So he keeps trying to talk to me even though I’m reading, and he winds up asking me if I’m a vampire.

Lolwut?! Um, guy, I wouldn’t be on the bus at nine in the morning if I was a vampire!

I second this! One day while looking at The Tower I couldn’t help but wonder what those peoples�� stories were. It’d be awesome to see someone telling their story :D

I'm thinking of writing short stories based on individual tarot cards, both for fun and to help me learn them. I'm debating posting them to my tarot blog, but I'm not sure people would be interested.

Learning to Read the Runes

I’ve seen a few posts cross my dash, asking for information on how to learn the runes, and just found a 10-part series by Arrow in Flight today!

Haven’t had a chance to read all the way through, and I do not read the runes myself (yet!), but there’s a lot of information and some handy tips and techniques.

Really really stupid question

I’ve been really into runes lately so I’ve been doing research and watching videos. But my question is, do you pronounce it like “roons” or like “ruins” because I’ve heard it pronounced both ways? When I first started researching I thought it was the former, but a lot of people have been pronouncing it like “ruins” So what is it? (PS. I feel really stupid for posting this, please spare me the embarrassment)
