✤⌇        Grantaire looks up when the lady enters and… has his breath stolen from him. Oh… she is just as lovely as they say. A true vision in her lavender gown. He bows politely, though his eyes never truly leave her.       ⌇✤

✤⌇        “Mademoiselle Kim, it is so wonderful to meet you. I am well, and look forward to painting you.” He only hopes that he can even begin to capture her beauty with paints. Perhaps charcoals would be better… But then they would miss out on her lovely coloring…       ⌇✤

✤⌇        Grantaire is so distracted that he doesn’t realize he’s been staring intently. Studying her. Trying to decipher the best way for him to capture her radiance.       ⌇✤

“ How very sweet of you! I do hope you’ll find the arrangements we’ve made here for you suitable. We have had many an artist in our home, but as you must know, everyone has their preferences. ” She smiles widely, her hands folding in front of her. Heavens above, this one is...handsome. Perhaps a bit worse for wear, but times are hard. It is hard not to see, and that is why her family gives to any who appear in need. They are very fortunate to live such comfortable lives ; the least the can do is try to alleviate some of the worries the impoverished face.

Taking a breath, Haru looks around  the room before meeting his gaze once more. “ Well, monsieur, I am quite at your mercy. Let me know where and how I shall sit, and I shall oblige. ”

The diplomat’s house is ALWAYS bustling. Servants scurrying about to get things done, those of any political standing in Paris making their visits to the head of the house... And upon Grantaire’s arrival, it is no different. The room they’ve brought him to is a quiet one, thankfully, with only one staff member present as a sort of... SUPERVISOR.

Because it is well known that the politician’s daughter is among one of the most beautiful young flowers in all of France—-perhaps the  W O R L D  . She is gentle and kind and sweet as honey. No artist has ever quite captured her perfectly. Her parents can only hope that this Grantaire will get the job done.

Entering from the door opposite the way he’d come, she steps into the room with pure elegance and grace. Donning one of the most beautiful lavender gowns he’s perhaps ever seen, she offers the artist a full, practiced curtsy before stepping to him and offering her hand. “ Monsieur Grantaire, how do you do? ”

✤⌇       Grantaire stands in front of the side door to the large house, his case of painting equipment in his hands. Knocking lightly. A servant answers, and they quickly allow the painter in. Showing him to the space in which he will be working. The lighting it perfect, and… he is quick to begin setting up. Pulling out his paints, his easel, his palette.       ⌇✤

           ❖✖ Reaching out, he pulls her over and plants a kiss on her forehead. “ Ma jolie, merci. ” He makes sure to shake his ass plenty for her on the way out, mischevious and affectionate. Quick to change into something hopefully far more… Enjolras attracting.

“ Stop it you, or I shall ensure you dress TERRIBLY and keep you for myself. ” Haru shamelessly indulges in the way he shakes his behind, and even goes so far as to cheer him on. As she waits, she paces about the apartment, reading labels of empty wine bottles Grantaire has drained—recently or long ago, she isn’t sure. Once he reemerges, changed into something more suitable, she smiles and saunters over to him, reaching with dainty hands to fix his cravat. “ Ah, mon chéri... You have never looked more handsome. ”

“ Well, I suggest you go make some changes then. Go on. I do so love watching you leave. ” He has a cute butt. Can you blame her?

           ❖✖The often-drunk young man looks down at himself and then back up at her. “ Merde…. Help? ” Enjolras would never appreciate a drnk interpretation of a flag… If anything it will just make him grumpy. Again.

“ Well, what look are you going for exactly? ” She begins to circle around him, checking him from all angles. “ I would suggest sticking to one of the two colors for your coat and vest, if you could. Black trousers. And perhaps a scarf as an accent piece in the other? You don’t want to walk in there looking like poor Jean Prouvaire. ”

“ You look like the flag’s disheveled, drunken son, ” she replies, arms folding across her chest. “ I am sure your friend will LOVE it. ”
