I've grown out of my earlier fics. I am moving onto different fandoms like Resident Evil and Baulder's Gate.

Still love undertale but I just am done with writing it.

Introductions!

Hello world, KneeBone here! I have recently discovered a love of writing after playing Baldur's Gate 3 and falling in love with pretty much every character (of course (but mostly Gale)). I wrote a silly little story on Archive Of Our Own, and was encouraged to make a Tumblr to get involved in the community!! Also... I am in the midst of writing my first ever full length book, which is Very Exciting Indeed (tm). I hope to be using this to post updates on the book, as well as starting to do some one shot stories on AOOO to keep the ol' creative juices flowing so... there you go!

Ao3 users: Remember or be aware that authors can read your bookmark notes. Some of y'all think you can be rude as fuck in those so let me give you some notes since you're apparently fine being rude when you think no one can see you:

The following are not appropriate in any capacity:

1) Grading fics (not on a letter scales, nor on a number scale.)

2) Listing parts of the fic/characterization you disagree with in your bookmark "even tho I liked the rest of it."

3) Directly saying the author "doesn't know" or "forgot" this thing or any variation of that.

4) Providing any other critique the author did not explicitly ask for in the fic itself.

5) Tagging the fic in your bookmarks with any of the above.

I know this can be confusing. You may think that bookmarks are just for you, but guess what? Unless you check that little box that says "private" before saving a bookmark, authors can see them and read your comments.

And look. I have a full-time job, i spend my day to day trying to make life easier for others, and I have other shit in my life that I deal with, and on top of that I write short stories and novels for people about their favorite characters for FREE.

You don't have the right to comment on how I do that unless something I have written is directly harming people.

So grow the fuck up. You all sound like the same highschool bully and you're fucking better than that.

New Year New Beginnings

To those who follow me for my Undertale Content. I'm taking time to revise the only fic I will be continuing. I got some pretty nasty responses to the fic in question and I get that. But in the same line this is my story. I'm gonna write it on my terms.

I want to finish writing Grinding Gears. It's one of my favorites to write and the community is so wonderful. Thank you.

I took a hiatus in May because of some personal reasons. I want to come back but it's going to be slow. I might end up just writing and not posting right away till I finish. I have been writing but... I've been obsessed with Lord Gortash from Baulder's Gate 3. Haven't beaten the game yet but man I like him. Especially on Durge playthrough. I'm a semi evil bastard lol.

I got two fics in progress one where it's based on modern times and one where it's based on post game events. My own thoughts, likely incorrect but part of fanfiction right? I'll see about an interest check. I originally simped for Astarion and saw the artificer. Knew I was screwed lol.

AO3 Etiquette

It would seem a whole new kind of AO3 reader/writer is emerging and it is becoming clear not everyone quite understands how the website community works. Here is some basic guidance on how most people expect you to go about using AO3 to keep this a fun community archive that funtions correctly:

Kudos is for when the story was interesting enough to make you finish reading. If it sucked or was badly written, you probably left. If you finished - you kudos.

If you liked it, you should comment. It can be long and detailed or a literal keysmash. Writers don't care, we just love comments.

No critisism unless the author has specifically asked or agreed to hear it. Even constructive critisism is a no-no unless an author note tells you it's okay. Many people write as a fun hobby or a way to cope with, among other things, insecurity. Don't ruin that for them.

Do not comment to ask the author to write/update something else. It's tacky and off-putting and will probably have the opposite effect than the one you want.

There is no algorithm, it's an archive. Use the search and filter function to add/remove the pairings/characters/tropes etc. you want to read about and it will find you the fics that fit the bill.

For this to work, writers must tag and rate stories. This avoids readers finding the wrong things and missing the stuff they want. I don't care how cringy that trope is in your eyes - it gets tagged.

Character A/Character B means a ROMANTIC or SEXUAL relationship of some kind. Character A&Character B is PLANTONIC, like friendship or family.

Nothing is banned. This is an implicit rule because banning one thing is a slipperly slope to banning another and another, until nothing is allowed anymore. Do not expect anyone to censor for you. Because of the tags system, you are responsible for your own reading experience.

People can create new chapters and sequels/fic series any time after they "complete" a story. So it's considered perfectly normal to subscribe, even to a finished story. You can even subscribe to the author instead just to cover your bases.

Do not repost stories or change the publishing date without an extremely good reason (like a complete top to bottom rewrite). It's an archive, not social media. No one cares what's the most recent, only what fits their tag needs.

Avoid deleting a story you wrote if you hate it - orphan it so others can still enjoy it, without it being connected to you anymore.

This is a creative fanfiction archive. No essays on your insights or theories please. There are other places for that.

I KNOW there's plenty more I missed but I'm trying to cover most of the basics that people seem to be struggling with.

I invite anyone to add to this, but please explain, don't berate.

To me, the only reason why Enver Gortash isn’t as popular as Ascended!Astarion is because a lot of players haven’t met him on the Durge run yet. Like dawg if Enver Gortash heard the way that Ascended!Astarion talks to Durge, he wouldn’t let that slide. He’d be like “Durge, don’t let that vampire twink talk to you like that”. Like Gortash supports you and wants to rule the world with you, Bhaal or not. Meanwhile, Astarion isn’t going to share any power with you, you’re like an accessory to him.

Astarion becomes Ascended and starts thinking he’s God 2.0, even though outside of raw power he doesn’t have one minion, one piece of capital outside the palace, and no clout. Gortash is a powerful politician, renowned robot builder, right hand of Bane, and wealthy as a mf but he considers you his equal and dearest.

That’s all I’m saying, mf like me choosing Gortash over Ascended!Astarion any day.

Alright kids, listen up because @staff have pulled off a corker of a hot mess and have decided to add "Community Labels". I guess they've decided we can't be trusted to add our own warnings and people can't make sensible choices with what they engage with.

But why does it matter to me?

Tumblr have made labels AN OPT IN SITUATION which means every single blog here is automatically set to hide any triggering content

If you want to continue to be able to access and read fanfiction PLEASE go into your settings and click "show" on at least the "Mature" and "Sexual Themes" labels!!

ALSO IOS USERS: there's an extra fun "Hide additional content" bit just to really try and block us from any hopes of success. Make sure you opt out of that too otherwise I think content will be blocked on the mobile app!

Never really used Tumblr before this, but with all that is going down on Twittling, might as well start here. I am a shy bean, but once I get to know people, I open up a bit. Updates

So, if you weren’t on my Twitter you might not know I took a much needed break from Writing. I have a good personal reason for it. I’m still writing but very sparsely. I actually started working on We Are Monsters again. I have a reason for this not being updated. A lot of it was the world isn’t very well built. And yes, I don’t want this to be seen as an underaged fic either because of Luna’s age in the flashbacks. I am only doing the flash backs for explanation of certain aspects. Specifically why she’s not with her family. But there are characters I want to introduce too. So we have two more ch’s of flashbacks before current events settle. Grinding Gears is sooo close to being done. I just struggle with fighting scenes  and there’s a shit ton of them coming up. Honestly, I want to skip them. Plus everyone has caught up has noticed my poor MC is struggling with some issues. Let’s face it you get trapped in a village like that after Racoon City you’d have some issues too. I am working on something new. If you guys aren’t interested I won’t bother posting it past the first chapter. My CoWriter started RPing Blue and we introduced him to WAM Luna. And omg they are super cute guys. There are concepts done in RP that will not be introduced in it because yes major spoilers for WAM. So they will be left out. But I’m writing it to completely figure out Luna’s abilities. It’s called Hello Nurse (yes, I watched Animaniacs when I was a kid.)

I’m also a CoWriter for Bad Pack. And some of you aren’t very fond of OC’s. Especially given everyone view’s Bad Sans Fics to be a poly relationship betwen all of them. Me and Alennyah struggle writing reader fics. Seems you guys get more irritated with us for having OCs involved than anything. If this is an issue to you and you feel you need to BOOKMARK it like that. Make it private. We see that and yeah it bugs us. We’re people too and yes we are entitled to how we take such things as much as you are for putting them out there. If you’re gonna do it like that make it private.

I’ll post them as I finish them. Grinding Gears is severely behind but my updates will be sporadic. Sorry for the super long explanations but I feel really bad for not keeping up with you guys.
