Silly Game Time: Sorry, I realize it's kinda early in the morning for such a question, but ... What should I do with this drunken sailor?

This little snippet caught my eye. Once again the way Wild speaks conveys little to no confidence in his title as a hero. He says "IF" the Sheikah were right. As in, if they were right to chose him as the hero in the first place.

Then he stops that train of thought and deflects with humour again, saying he'll just make something up. Which is more his own personal style of problem solving.

I hope throughout this story Wars and the others can help convince Wild that he's just as much a hero as the rest of them.

You know this moment when the Chain lands in another Hyrule and someone exclaims : "Oh, it's my Hyrule!" ?

I keep thinking about the LU update, and several people have pointed out that TotK happens “in five years” to Wild. And yes, that’s a fun(?) easter egg and probable confirmation TotK happens after the LU. But what I keep getting stuck on is Wild’s idle animation in TotK. The one where he stares at his zonai arm if left standing still too long? What if he stares at it thinking about what he told Warriors? Thinks about how he made a life with his Zelda and then he let it be snatched away from him? What would Warriors think of him now? Probably that he needs to keep going and get her back. Because Warriors knows that Wild can accomplish everything he sets his mind to.

What if in this universe where he spent time with his heroic brothers, he thinks about what he’s learned from them during TotK and that’s part of what keeps him going? Because he knows his brothers believe in him and they would push him not to give up. That they taught him that failure doesn’t mean you are a failure, and they expect him to get his princess back and set his Hyrule to rights since they know he can succeed. When everything is still and despair knocks, Wild might think about the conversation and the time he had with his brothers and keep moving.

I don’t know if I can play TotK now without thinking of how Wild might be taking inspiration from his brothers. And I love that fact.

i think it's fantastic just how much warriors cares. he's not being "ugh you're a bad soldier. why did time put me in this situation with you" he's being like "you are my brother i want to understand you and how your mind works because i'm concerned and i care and i don't want you to die"

look at that. that is the reaction speed of a Protective Big Brother. look how panicked he is in panel 3. He was intensely on guard cause he's gotta protect his brother at all costs, and the instant something is wrong he reacts. Even when dungeons aren't his strong point (having never played HW i don't know if the maps have hazards like this?) he's a good man and his loves his brother. i love it.
