This guy i used to like when i was (wait for it) 14! At the time he was like 20 and he turned me down (as he should) bc i was too young but he just found me on Instagram and now we are 25 - 31 and honestly mad respect for waiting, im not interested anymore tho lol but i always appreciated that he turned me down back then. Good guy.

I was missing an old friend today, we don't really talk anymore and he is not the type to post a lot on social media. I did a little searching to see what his life has been and i gotta say I'm so happy for you! I'm so happy that you are happy. I never thought i would be genuinely happy to see you in love but i am.

I used to cry for you, i used to obsess over you forgetting me and moving on but i think our story was good and it was just what it had to be. I now know i didn't make a mistake when i decided to leave, cuz we both needed that space and i still love you, i always will but in a different way (it was always a different way, i guess) you don't even know it but you just made my day a bit brighter and you reminded me that life does get better.

This is the future that i used to crave so much, the one where we made our lives apart but i never forget you because you helped me so much back then, thank you.

I hope you still remember me fondly and that somehow i helped you too.
