Running from your past is easier than facing it. A lesson learned time and time again. But when that past was **good** it makes it so much harder.

The fine line between dreams and reality had blurred over time. It’s nigh impossible trying to tell wakefulness from sleep, often leading to fugue-like states where existence is muddled and nightmares are real. In those moments, voices from his past come to call, come to remind him how much of a failure he is.

A coward.

He still has his mind. He still has his senses. He still has his fight… for now.

Wiscard; the end of all things good.

Been fixated on my viera guy from ffxiv lately, so I’ve been haphazardly kind of scribbling out his story a bit. Not taking it super seriously, nor have I been focusing too hard on making it look “nice,” I’ve just been aiming to get the story down in a visually successful way.

Been drawing a lot of lil baby Wis and his parents recently. He has a #traumatic backstory, because of course he does. But in the beginning, stuff was great!
