Supreme God is neither born nor dies.

In 1398 AD (Vikrami Samvat 1455), On the full moon of the Jyestha month, during Brahmamuhurta, Supreme God Kabir descended from Satlok as a newborn, appearing on a lotus in Lahartara pond, outside Kashi.

Rishi Ashtanand Ji, a disciple of Swami Ramanand Ji and a regular at the pond, was a direct witness. The childless weaver couple, Niru and Nima, both around sixty, also visited the pond daily. They brought Him home, and it was the God Himself who chose the name "Kabir."
