I’ve never understood claiming to hate something while simultaneously researching and keeping tabs far closer than most obsessed fans and hating the thing being my main personality trait… if I don’t like something, I really do just not think about it, and if it’s brought up I politely say it’s not for me and, like, move on with my life?? It’s actually really strange behavior.

Hellaverse-antis are such a fascinating animal to me because personally, if I hated something with that kind of fervent unrelenting passion, I would just… not talk about it. I wouldn’t pay attention to any news regarding it, I would try to pretend it doesn’t exist, and if I somehow did get exposed to it on accident I would maybe be upset but I would just distract myself with something I do enjoy and go about my day.

But that’s not what these people do. They keep up with the news, they watch the shows, they stalk Vic’s twitter, all so that they can point to any tiny imperfection no matter how insignificant it may or may not be and use it to justify why Vivziepop is the worst thing to ever happen to animation, the internet, and the concept of artistry as a whole

I carry the biggest Teenage Boy energy in my family LMAO Like, I ride horses and when people ask what I've been up to I just say "ah, just the same old" or smth like that but my siblings have learned to ask "has that included being bucked off" because to me minor falls off horses are just a thing that can happen and I forget that that is, in fact, not "just the same old" LOL

Every con has different rules and procedures around admissions and who goes into panels...I fully side with Viv about how children should absolutely NOT be allowed at panels for shows that are very clearly NOT in their age range, let alone be able to ask WILDLY inappropriate questions that make the actors uncomfortable, but throwing a con under the bus when we don't know if the con even has those procedures Viv wants is not a smart move. In the future, the panels should really be held at cons who offer the screening procedures Viv wants and needs rather than complain that her panel at a con that didn't have those procedures didn't do the thing. It makes the con look bad, but also makes Viv look difficult to work with, which makes the entire show look bad and may end up having her shows blacklisted from cons in the future.

Idk man, I just don't want to see a show that got me through so much hardship be blacklisted from cons because Viv wasn't booking events that does age screening and kept complaining about the lack of age screening...The actors are amazing and deserve to keep having the opportunities to interact with their fans

Isn’t viv throwing the con under the bus pretty much a speedrun at getting banned??? Because if people take her side, it’s gonna make them talk about how careless the con’s handled and will be risking venues from wanting to keep them around, I know this isn’t as extreme as Rainfurest but still painting a target. Her sensitive ass is not as untouchable as she thinks.
