I'm making a new blog and moving over to it, I think it'll be good to get a fresh start. A lot of things have changed about me and I think it's fitting to get a new blog for a proper introduction and to get more organized.

Finished product! It’s messy because I didn’t sleep at all last night and also because it’s mostly just a test

So I guess I have a little puppet now! Not entirely sure if I really need it, but it sure does exist! Now I really just need to master making les messy lines and I’ll be good. (Maybe there’s a stabilizer I can use)

Attempt 2 at using my wacom tablet! I tried a little more this time and did it in FireAlpaca instead of MS Paint. It’s about time I got used to the tablet, since I’ve had it for years now. The eye color keeps changing because my eyes are actually green, but since I’m ginger and green-eyed I’ve been worried I would look too much like David. I also figured I might as well include more true-to-life details like the tooth gap and freckles. Drawing digital is fun but my body is very angry at me for my drawing posture.

So are we ever gonna talk about a Divergent AU??? (Divergent / Insurgent spoilers ahead)

Like there are a lot of possibilities for it (but since Divergent is a romance I think it’d be less of like one character being Tris and another being Tobias, and more of just an AU with the Divergent political system) like:

Max: Transferred to Amity from Abnegation to escape his parents (I couldn’t think of a more fitting faction so I just used the main-ish one. After all, both main characters in the books came from Abnegation, and apparently Abnegation is known for having kids transfer out in the past few years of the time the book takes place.)

Nikki: Dauntless born, transferred to Amity for Reasons I Do Not Particularly Feel Like Coming Up With

Neil: Erudite born, transferred to Amity because he knew about the whole “Jeanine is evil” thing and wanted no part in it

David: Amity born, trains the new people (if there was a term they used for that, I can’t remember because it’s been years since I read the books)

Gwen: Candor born, but transferred to Amity because she prefers her privacy

Quartermaster: Was probably around before the faction system

Campbell: ...I almost feel bad for this, but he’d probably maybe be in Jeanine’s role? I hate Jeanine very much and think Campbell somehow deserves better, but it’s fitting, I guess?

Daniel: Having read Insurgent, I’m actually pretty scared of Amity, so probably the leader of Amity. Joanne brainwashes her faction members when they misbehave, Daniel brainwashes children so he can poison AND stab them. Basically the same person.

I could come up with backstories for the other campers but that would require putting thought and effort into this so maybe I’ll do it later or something
