merope isn't a monster for taking the first chance to get out of a household where she was verbally, physically and s.exually abused.

and

merope was wrong for drugging tom riddle jr and attempting to coax him into staying with her by having his child.

are concepts that can, and should, co-exist. merope is both victim and abuser. with how obsessed with blood purity the gaunts were, merope was 100% expected to bear a child with her brother morfin. how was this secluded and sheltered girl supposed to know and understand the concept of consent? her father and older brother sure as hell never taught her.

Merope Gaunt is one of the most tragic characters of all time, and I will always defend her because the poor thing was inbred and a product of incest and rape, and was abused her whole life (and was implied as potentially being raped by her living male family members), and she was illiterate and kept uneducated by no fault of her own, oppressed by her whole family and by society, and was looked down upon by everyone for being poor, dirty, unkempt, ugly, unattractive, stupid, unintelligent, etc.

Merope never had a chance to succeed in life, and she craved love and kindness and affection so badly that she made a stupid choice in using a love potion to try to obtain any crumbs of “love” or affection from the handsome Muggle boy she had idealized in her mind. What she did was wrong, but she already paid a heavy price for her crimes with her life. Merope suffered enough for 12 lifetimes.

Tom Riddle Sr wasn’t some innocent victim. He was a bad person too. He was a worse person than Merope was, because he had no justification for being a bad person. He was born and raised with all the privileges in the world. If one is going to demonize Merope Gaunt, one of the most oppressed tragic characters of all time just for being unlucky enough to be born into an abusive family that broke her soul, one should demonize Tom Riddle Sr too. Riddle Sr is part of the oppressor class that victimizes poor women like Merope in general anyway. He was not a good person and I have zero sympathy for him. I have more sympathy for Vernon Dursley and Dolores Umbridge than I do for Tom Riddle Sr.

I practically never finished mcl because of the action points and out of nostalgia I wanted to finish it, rummaging alone to find mods I couldn't find anything that was compatible with my phone (android) well maybe I'm wrong.

In the end, as thanks for saving the Enchanted Forest, Odette is crowded a Swan Princess. Additionally, her father and Prince Daniel are discussing wedding plans. Thus, Odette becomes a future princess to their human kingdom. Despite all this, she remains humble, saying she achieved this because a friend once told her, "You’re braver than you think."

One part of Barbie and the 12 Dancing Princesses we absolutely do not discuss enough is the fact that these 12 sisters share one bedroom.

A large gorgeous bedroom yes, and yes, I realize it's a plot point, but still!! I had to share a room with all 3 of my sisters for like a year, and we almost killed each other, but we were also unhinged and chaotic. There are absolutely wonderful parts about sharing a room with your sisters, but oh my gosh, the age gaps! Some of these girls are toddlers, and the others are in their late teens!

They absolutely conspire, but they've also probably had massive arguments and fights that start over the littlest thing and span days. As a result of these fights, does the bedroom get split into camps depending on who takes whose side?

The older ones clearly take care of the younger sisters, and how do they feel about it? Not even having their own space? Are they happy with the situation? Do they have a choice?

The magical portal was absolutely not the first time they snuck out, and as the triplets grow, I refuse to believe it's the last. What is someone going to do? Stop them??

What if the older sisters want to do something without the younger ones? Do they have a system for keeping them distracted? What about if it's the other way around?

Not to mention, we rarely see anyone who works in the palace, so 12 sisters with little to no supervision means unbridled chaos.

No wonder the King always looks exhausted.
