OMFMGMS I LOVE THIS SO MUCH

A Snowy Confession

The Winter brought upon by the Snow King has turned the land of Ever After into an Ice land. With the student of Ever After High suffering the worsening cold, staffs and volunteering students have gathered to hand out supplies to keep the students in better condition.

Among the volunteers were Apple White and Darling Charming.

With many of their friends taking the quest of stopping the Snow King's wrath, little of them remained at school to help around and keep warm.

Or perhaps remain in their thoughts...

Darling Charming can be seen sitting in her room by the lit fireplace, keeping herself warm and being lost in her thoughts

After the event of the Dragon games, her life had spun around in 180.

Defeating the Evil Queen was a proud trophy, even with a sprained ankle she managed to help out. She earned that said sprain during one of the rounds of the dragon games.

And it was done by no other than the princess that she kissed and woke. Apple White.

Saying the she was glad that she was awake was an understatement, she was glad that she woke her up herself. Falling in love with the princess after her few visits in the Charming castle for playdates, although only for the reason of her destiny being her brother.

She couldn't help but stare at the beauty that's meant for her eldest sibling. The blood red lips, blue eyes that's on par with the sky and the beautiful seas, blonde hair that goes against the description of her story, and pale white skin that creates an ethereal glow once hit by the golden sunlight highlight her natural rosey blush that adorned her face.

Darling had it bad...

She remembered how starstruck she was after a few playdates with her, thinking it was adoration but with more time spent she knew it was more than that, missing the blonde girl every week after she leaves the Charming household.

But as the years went by their visits became less and less frequent until they don't at all, bringing only Daring, her destined prince to the White's Kingdom. It was unfair was all she thought, she wanted to see Apple too, She wanted to spend time with her and drown in her presence, she wanted to be there for her always. She wanted to be her prince too...

Seeing her again as their age struck 16, able to enter the well known school of Ever After, the school where fairytales thrive and awoken by the Storybook. Teaching Prince and Princesses to rule into their future Kingdoms with Happily Ever Afters, along with their Nemesis Titled to fulfill their destiny of evil doings and helping complete the Royalty's destinies.

A school that in truth she and Dexter had no place in. Despite the very suspicious story she was told to have she felt more than a damsel in distress, and more so a Knight, and she knew it was for her when she stumbled upon Wonderland. That was her destiny, a princess hidden inside a shining suit of white armor, The White Knight.

Oh Adventure! She was ecstatic! Never in her life did she ever thought she would uphold such title, even without signing the book she knew she wasn't meant for a damsel, distressing over a tower she could easily escape and a dragon she can easily tame.

Yet even as A Knight she stumbles, and not even because of danger but because of a certain princess she can't simply get off her mind.

Adorned in her signature red, white, and gold, Apple White, the daughter of Snow White, the fairest in the land that had many in chokehold by her beauty and charm. Shes grown, especially her beauty she thought.

She walked in with Daring in tow, the princess wrapping her arms around his own with a smile. They greeted her and went off.

Right....A girl could dream. She sighed and waved goodbye in acknowledgement to them.

She regains her consciousness once more from her thoughts that always occupied her when she was alone. And grabbed her coat to go outside and get something to fill her stomach instead.

She opened the door and found the said person she was thinking about from before. Her eyes immediately goes down to stare at her blood red lips, an action that was very noticeable considering the few inches of height she had against Apple. And as usual she thought it was cute.

Apple held snacks and an extra blanket, with her fist up high which indicated she was about to knock on the door. She stared at her just as long as Darling did. Darling wondered why.

The short girl blushed at her blunder and forced out a cough which broke Darling off her trance.

"Darling I brought you some stuff, it was the last of it from the student council.", She smiled at Darling. Darling could have sworn

Her heart melted from just that. She kept her composure and engaged at the rare conversation she'll have with her.

"Thanks Apple, your offer is appreciated. It's been cold so the blanket was needed." She smiled back at the blonde and continued. "Do you want to come in perhaps? You've been out for a while, you should rest, and it's freezing outside. We wouldn't want the soon-to-be Queen of Ever After to catch a cold would we?"

Apple laughed at her remark, "Of course your generous offer shall be taken, oh so dashing Knight." She played along with a wink.

Darling fought back a blush by the sudden attack. Right, they know about my status in Wonderland now...

She played along and her out her hand with her other arm going around behind her back, she bowed and spoke. "Then m'lady?"

Apple chuckled at the move but took it regardless. They went inside and sat down at the chairs surrounding the Fireplace. They were alone for now, Rosabella went out with the others on the quest.

"How's your uhm..sprain...", Apple asked.

"Movable, but at least I'm still alive.", Proudly I spoke. This made the blonde laugh but cut herself off and continued.

"I apologize for that Darling, for everything in the Dragon games."

"Jeez, it wasn't so bad. The Evil Queen escaped yeh but we got that covered didn't we?"

"Yes, I know. But I was selfish and because of that I put everyone in danger... I'm surprised people still talk to me and ask for my help, honestly I should've been punished."

I stared at her after she finished speaking.

"I understand, I'd be surprised not being punished too. If I did that of course. But at least you're given another chance to prove yourself, and that's what matters you know? You're guilty, then make up for it."

I paused and looked away from her to the fire that lit up and warmed the room. "We can't always dwell on the past. All that matters is we're all alive now, especially you.", I smiled at her when I finished.

Apple blushed at that, and it's cute when she does that. I wish I made her always blush like that.

"I...Darling...Thank you."

"For what?", My brows quirked by the sudden gratitude.

"For the things that you said, thank you. It meant a lot. I owe you all plenty."

"Jeez, you don't have to. Although you need to be a little less selfish about destiny from now on.", I laughed.

"Well there's nothing to be exactly selfish about anymore, it's already been done.", She sighed.

"Shouldn't you be happy then? It's all you've ever wanted though right?"

"Yes but....No one is telling me who kissed me. And Mom has been asking me about that, she's worried, been worried after what happened to me at the dragon games. I'm thankful that she is but you know, she can be a lot sometimes.",She sighed again, tired at the nagging of her mother.

Oh right....

Due to the unexpected outcome, everyone agreed to stay quiet in my behalf and on behalf of Apple's possible reaction. Everyone knows how much she cares about her destiny and with me being the unexpected saviour of the famous soon to be Queen, no one knows how she'll take it well. Or "if" she'll even take it well.

"Darling are you alright?"

Oh right- "Ah ehem* Ahhh yeh, prince charming....right. Maybe Hopper is your Prince Charming?", I joked.

"It is possible, but I know, hex most of the school knows except Briar that he's had a Fairy huge crush on her. Ahh....what a major fairyfail, everything has gone off-script. My mom has accepted it but It's just, I don't know....I disappointed everyone and her."

I stood up from my seat and went to her to pat her head, "It's alright Apple....no one's disappointed about it."

"....I am. I'm alright now that we know that going we all aren't going "poof" even if we went off-script from our fairytale paths. But all that preparation, the promise of how my Destiny will go. I feel like my life has been a lie.", She slumped her shoulders from that.

"And now, I don't even know who kissed, and no one, not even him wants me to know...", Her eyes, despite looking away from me were visible with tears. She wiped it away and continued.

"If they don't want to be with me it's fine, but I just need to know now, and thank them at least."

I bit my lip, I'm scared to tell her how I feel... I've been in love with this beautiful princess forever after, what would she say? What would she think when she finds out it was me, a princess who kissed her?? What about the Queen? Would she cut off my head because I kissed her daughter and not another prince?? Would I be chased down the school cuz I kissed their princess?? Her fanclub would torch my room down!

But I love her... there's a chance...maybe she and I could be. I've dreamt of this for so long. Blonde locks of hair that smells like cinnamon that I get to bury my nose into, blood red lips that only I get to kiss, enchanting blue eyes that would only look at me and for me, soft unscathed hands that I get to hold and protect from difficulties to remain the same. Maybe, just maybe...maybe I could be your prince charming.

"Do you want to go out and get coffee or Hot Chocolate, Apple?", I snapped myself out of it before I could loosen my mouth to say those words.

Not right now...soon but not now...

"Of course that would be lovely." She smiled and stood up. If only I could be the only one that makes you smile like that....

I smiled at her and offered my arm and we went our way to the Castleteria.

Ocean blue yet piercing gaze, tanned skin, and Platinum blonde hair.

She was beautiful and Charming like her namesake.

The first time I saw her she was stumbling slightly and shifting awkwardly in her shoes. It was cute and charming but my focus shouldn't be on her.

I looked towards Daring, my supposed prince. Stood tall and with a blinding smile he was introduced to me and my mother by King Lance Charming.

"Princess Apple, It is my honor to personally introduce to you my son and your fiance, Prince Daring Charming.", He patted his back to go forward.

"I am Prince Daring Charming, Handsome and brave as my Father. I am the eldest of the Charming family. Pleased to meet you princess.", He bowed and spoke, them stood proudly once more.

I looked at my mother who was smiling at me to go next. Alright.

"Prince Daring, I am Princess Apple White, pleased to meet you.", I curtsied with a small unwrinkled smile as taught by my mother.

I walked back to my mother's side once more and looked at her. She smiled at me, that smile only meant that I did well.

"And these are my other Children, Prince Dexterous Charming, and Princess Darling Charming.", King Charming introduced them with his hand. They bowed and curtsied at me and I so did I in response.

"Now go on and get to know each other, we have to discuss things with Snow White for now.", Queen Charming spoke.

We left the room with the maid who ushered us outside.

"So to start since we'll be future uhm...husband and wife? Lets go play to get to know each other.", He smiled at that.

"Jeez Daring that's too straight forward. Give the girl a break they just arrived here.", Dexter spoke. He had brown hair in contrast to the usual blonde hair in the household. How odd, but I can say the same for my hair.

"Well do you perhaps have anything better to start with? Hmph!", They bantered back and forth.

I giggled at their antics, Seeing this as an only child could only make me want to ask mother of siblings as well, not like I haven't tried asking before much to mother's embarrassed face and Father's laugh.

"Hello, I'm Darling. I apologize for them both, it's normal."

Pretty, was all I could think of. She was taller than me, 2 inches at least. She stumbled slightly trying to get close to me and held out her hand. I shook it and chuckled at her remark of her brothers.

"I can see that. It is envying."

"Why? Don't you have siblings too?",She quirked her brow at my response.

"Well, no. I'm an only child."

"Oh I thought everyone had siblings."

"Now where'd you get thet from?", I laughed.

"Well my dad has plenty, and mom has them too. The maids spoke to me about their siblings too...", And she went on.

"Hm....well then I guess I'm your first to encounter. I'm honored.", I joked to her flashing her with a smile and wink. She seems flustered by that. I chuckled.

"Well I am honored to meet an only child as pretty as you are Ms. Apple.", She curtsied. We laughed at that.

"Hey no fair! You're flirting with my future wife-to-be, you already have enough suitors for that!", Daring squeezing himself between me and Darling with a half. I pouted slightly at that but smiled again.

"Ewwww, I don't even want them!",She huffed in annoyance at Daring. They too bantered."

"Guys! There's another suitor at the front of the castle." Dexter spoke, pointing down the Window to reveal a little boy, judging by how he was dressed he seemed to be a townsfolk. He recited his poem aloud for everyone to hear, declaring his undying love for Darling.

"Ughh! Ewww!. They just want to be in the family I don't even go out much for him say all those, and I don't even speak to them.", She rolled her eyes at the boy's pathetic attempt of poetry.

"So, who's ready for round 10 of chasing suitors for today?",Daring spoke, in announcement, cracking his knuckles as he looks at his siblings with a smirk.

They smirked at him and looked at me.

"Want to join Ms.White?", Daring asked.

I pulled at the rope that Darling held out to me.

Splash!

Then Dexter opened the gates. Daring went out on horseback with a shining fake sword and yelled.

"BACK OFF RAT! SHOO WITH YOUR FALSE AND UGLY CONFESSION!"

We all laughed as he chased the poor boy away and out the Castle downhill.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA so Apple *cough* HAHA- how was your first ever suitor chasing?", Dexter spoke.

I uncontrollably stopped my laughter and wiped the tears that formed at the corner of my eyes.

"It was great, I would love to do so again.", I giggled at that.

"We'll you're in luck! Cuz they appear every 2 hours or so!", Darling declared laughing still from hearing the town's boy's screams from a mile away with Daring's insults in tow.

What a wonderful memory.

I stared at Darling as she was walking back from getting our Hot chocolate's from Castleteria kitchen. The staff was out from the cold so she made it herself. She sat down beside me as I collected my thoughts once more from the daydream of a past memory we had together when were 6 and the first time I saw her.

An undescribable feeling I could not yet decipher no matter how long it has been.

She handed down the drink to me. I took it and sipped.

"Ow"

I took the cup away immediately from my lips. I burned my tongue. How embarrassing.

"Oop- careful Apple.", She patted my back and chuckled. "It's hot", pointing at the drink she laughed at me.

"Oh I didn't notice.", I rolled my eyes and laughed with her.

As soon as I calmed down I spoke.

"Sorry, my mind was just hazy. Got lost in thoughts.",

"Well can I hear about it?", She shifted beside me and got closer the touch of our shoulders making my heart beat louder than before. That feeling again...

"Sure.", I told her everything that I remembered at the Charming household, except my thoughts during that time. And we laughed at that mentioned memory.

"HAAHAHAHAHAHAHA Right! Like who are they even, we didn't even interact enough for them to court me with pathetic poems about their undying love.", She snorted.

I just laughed at her insult about her suitors. I agree though, how ridiculous.

"I want to chase them away too along with Daring and Dexter, but I might get expelled here *sigh*", She spoke dejected by the situation. I patted her shoulders at her mood.

"I can relate, but unfortunately no one is there to chase them away for me.", I smiled at her tired at the constant letters that fly out my locker with apples on top falling off of it. I appreciate the gesture though.

"Hmmm maybe I can?", She smirked at me.

"You can't even join in your brother to chase for yours away.", I crossed my arms with a smile and raised my eyebrow at her remark.

"I can! Expelled was over exaggerating it a bit but it's more like princess profile? Something like that.", She puffed out her chest in pride.

I chuckled at her plan.

"Sure charming, protect me from these oh so terrible lovers.", I exaggerated my voice and lifted a hand to my head to further it more.

We laughed at that.

A cold and harsh wind forced open the windows at the other side of the castleteria. I shivered at the sudden cold hitting me.

Darling took immediate action and took off her own jacket and covered me with it, doubling the jacket I wore.

"Jeez, Snow King needs to cool off a bit. When will they beat that guy?", She spoke amused at her wordplay. She took her gaze off the windows and turned to me.

"You alright?",She looked at me in worry and I nodded.

Now that I looked at her further her new hairstyle caught my attention.

"I forgot to mention earlier, you look good in your hairstyle.", I spoke and touched her braided hair.

"Oh uh..thanks, I planned to cut it short but I need Mom's permission, she'll miss it she said when I first asked her and told me not to cut it yet."

"Oh. Alright."

"You look good in yours too, you're lacking the point of wearing jackets though.", I laughed at her and crossed my arms and puffed out my chest.

"Hmph! Even in this cold I also need to style myself you know? A princess should always dress properly."

"Of course, I know that. But don't you think you could've at least picked a better shirt, or a bigger coat? You look great though Apple."

"Well... you're right, but I had to hurry to help out on volunteering to hand out supplies earlier. And the quickest i could come up with was this...hmph! At least I look good.", I sent her a wink at my last comment.

She blushed but quickly recovered.

"Well you are m'lady. How about we take this afternoon for a walk outside?",She stood and offered her arm smirking at me.

The sudden invitation made me raise an eyebrow but accepted it anyways.

"I would love that.", I smiled, stood up and gave back her coat before I grabbed her arm.

Your beauty overwhelms me.

I thought as I walked with Apple's arm wrapped around mine.

She looks ethereal at glow that was given by the sunlight.

Fair skin that owned red lips and red cheeks, a desire to kiss that overwhelms me everytime I pass by her down the halls of Ever After High when she and Daring were thought to be forever after.

Guilty as I am that my Brother lost his destiny to me, I'm glad as well to save Apple myself. A thing I dreamt for so long.

Her laugh and giggles that sounded like singing in itself, her remarks and witty responses, her beautiful smile that owned blood red lips accompanied all those. Every minute and every second with her rotted my head with the want of keeping her to myself.

Her soft touch against my arms only covered with gloves to keep her hands warm. All of this....

it's Overwhelming...

Pushing me to this idea. And there's no turning back now.

We walked around the enchanted forest, once green now covered with the blindingly white snow. The storm ceased completely. I hope that meant that they've defeated the Snow King.

I looked at Apple who was humming, to herself as she held my arm like her life depended on it yet gentle at the same time.

As she hummed a bird flew towards her, she offered her hand for the bird to rest, letting go of my arm for a moment to speak to the bird, she giggled and laugh like they were having a conversation. The sight....

It was overwhelming...

Darling sighed...

As soon as Apple was done with her bird friend, Apple looked at her with her adoring smile.

Her heart beats louder, nervousness finally taking over with one smile from the girl she always dreamed about.

Man up!

She inhaled.

"Apple, I want to tell you something", That's it, slowly.

"What is it Darling?", She smiled, that damned smile.

Don't make this more difficult.

"I know who kissed you...at the Dragon games.", She widens her eyes at the mention of her True love. Her prince charming.

"Really?! That's great! Thank you Darling I would love to know!", She beams.

"I...", I paused, hesitant of it.

"It was me....I kissed you Apple"

She kissed me?

I stared at her in silence.

She kissed me....But that couldn't be....

A princess...

A princess can't be a Prince Charming.

But....why does my heart beat fast....

A Rhythmic thud that sounded neither from anxiety or nervousness...

She's the only one that gets me like this...

I don't understand.

I'm confused yet relieved.

How come?

No...it makes absolute sense-

"I'll go... I'm sorry. I'll give you time to think"

I must be staring at her for too long lost in my own thoughts for her to react in such a way.

She started walking.

But before she could I grabbed her hand.

MMPHF

The two stood in place, the cold atmosphere shifting into a sudden unexplainable yet comforting warmth only shared between the two

Apple stood on her tiptoes trying to keep herself in place, her heart thumping madly at her sudden outburst. She too was shocked at what she had done yet not an ounce of guilt nor anxiety crept in comforting her with the feeling of this....

Being just right.

Apple stumbled slightly but was supported by Darlings arms wrapping around her waist.

The taller girl had recovered from her initial shock, and was delighted by what was happening. Her fear and nervousness turning into joy. Responding to the blonde beneath her, she moved further. Deepening the kiss that was initiated by the shorter woman.

Apple complied, humming in the midst of the kiss they shared and opened her mouth in response.

The two stood there for minutes unbothered by the cold, creating their own source of heat.

They finally stopped, short of breath from the action they took.

Darling took the blonde in a deep embrace, burying her nose to the blondes neck. A dream she dreamt for so long was no longer a dream.

Apple White was flustered by what was happening, she didn't understand, yet it felt so right. Back then it didn't feel this way with Daring.

Their Destiny that was told that would happen between them didn't feel right, just a fairytale shaded with black and white. Covered with beautiful told lies that they thought were true.

Now it was bathed in Golden sunlight amidst the white snow

Responding to her name and the signature colors of her family.

Is this her Fairytale?

Darling lifted herself from the blonde and looked at her.

"Apple White.... I love you."

Apple white smiled at that

"I love you too, my charming."

They both smiled and shared a kiss once more, a short one that felt like eternity. One she didn't imagine would happen...but unlike the last time, she didn't disprove. And welcomed it with a smile.

It wasn't like the other stories she had read of damsels being with princes, of the Snow White story she was promised to be, an ending earning her the prince of her dreams. Fairytale endings that she always favored before.

But out of all of them

This was the perfect fairytale ending that she has come to adore.
