One word...CHAOS. Daily chaos on the Agreste household.
In here, Adrien is a year younger than in the Werepapas flashback. This time I tried a more colourful approach.
Nothing like drawing some smiles to heal the heart... to then BREAK IT WITH MORE ANGST AND DRAMA (saved for the next comic)

Miraculous AU where the Kwamis can disguise themselves as actual animals. The only issue is sometimes they transform on instinct instead of just hiding, leaving someone like Max to try and explain why the fuck there's a horse in his room.

The Ruler puts Lila in a hilarious light. She tried using the power of homophobia to get the Miraculous and it almost fucking worked.

As a kid, I didn't understand that saying "[insert characters] disappeared" meant death. When I first watched Miraculous, I thought Emilie just disappeared and was expecting some sort of arc that she was alive. Even during the coffin reveal, I, for some reason, thought that Gabriel just told the world she "disappeared" and then kept her body in the basement.
I completely forgot I thought that as a kid until Werepapas, where they said "Gabriel's disappearance." Girl he is DEAD

Hmm ooooh so shipping Adrien off to London for “safekeeping” while Gabriel executed his plan wasn’t just to keep him in pristine condition for Emily’s return. It was to ensure he’d be there as back-up in case Gabriel croaked, too. Hmm yeah I think I’m going to throw up

In my heart this is what happened, because it honestly sounds like something Gabriel would do.

Yaknow in Steven Universe, there's an episode where Ronaldo predicts the diamonds(I believe it's something like that)?
So imagine that in Miraculous Ladybug. Where someone on the internet does NOT believe Gabriel was a hero, and correctly accuses him of being Hawkmoth. A whole ass conspiracy. Maybe add something absolutely ridiculous to explain why Ladybug lied, for funsies.
Cause I'm imagining everyone thinking it's crazy, and also insanely disrespectful. Probably feeling awful Adrien has to hear this nonsense.
And then it cuts to Marinette's face and she's just sitting there like

Werepapas came out awhile ago, but I've had this thought in my head for WEEKS.
Does Lila know Adrien is a senti?
In "Relevation", Lila uses her Akuma powers to brainwash Natalie to give her Gabriel secrets. ALL of his secrets. Including...
Tumblr media
At the very least, she must be confused about that picture, correct? I cannot read French, but the papers Natalie had sent pictures of didn't seem to be anything about sentibeings. Just his heritage (his parents fast food restaurant, actual legal name), old friend photos, a paper about the alliance with Tomoe's(?) signature, and the book filled with information about the Miraculous.
That last one could very well tip Lila off about the sentibeings, but technically it's not outright proof that Adrien is one. Also written in code, but Lila is shown to be smart, so maybe that doesn't matter.
What I'm getting at is, I don't actually believe Lila knows what Adrien is, but I'm bagging on her being intrigued on why the ring was sent in the first place. The picture was taken right after she took a picture of Emilie, probably intending a correlation of the two
Which FINALLY brings me to Werepapas.
The ring disappears shortly after Adrien places it down. You can see it rolling away here after Emil throws a little temper tantrum:
Tumblr media
And then after they all panic, Millie finds it under her plate.
Tumblr media
Normal sequence of events. Usually I wouldn't bat an eye at this. Just supposed to be silly antics, and how Millie gets the ring so she can run off with it and get akumatized.
Unless...
You know how in "London: At the Edge of Time", Lila akumatizes herself to be invulnerable, and steal all the Miraculous?
This whole season, it's obvious she's been following Marinette around. Who's to say she didn't make a fake pair, find a moment to sneak into the Agreste mansion, and take them for herself?
It's why Millie, the second she is alone, gets akumatized. I'm wondering if she's waiting around. Possibly even IN the mansion. That'd be terrifying, ngl. (Though that part is unlikely. I wouldn't be shocked if she booked it out of there the minute the fake ring was placed, just for safety.)
This is all 100% speculation btw. I have no proof this is what happened, but there's SOMETHING up with those rings. When Ladybug broke them, nothing happened. The "intention matters" is such a boring explanation that I actually refuse to believe it. Where are the stakes? The drama? Absolutely not. Give me SOMETHING.

Speaking of this, what do you think was going on in Natalie's head when she released Sentibug? Did she think of Adrien, even for a second?
Imagine the Chat Noir reveal; finding out you killed one of his own IN FRONT OF HIM. Personally it'd haunt me but Natalie might be built different idk
Watching the s3 episode "Ladybug" is crazy in hindsight. No way GABRIEL AGRESTE asked them "getting sentimental over a sentimonster?" The actual audacity.

So, it's obvious Lila (or whatever her name is) isn't actually trying to get the Miraculous via akumatization, right?
She's a lot smarter than Gabriel. She won't give them a name, her voice, even her gender. She's covering her tracks in every possible direction. She's definitely way too smart to just try and do the same strategy Gabriel did a million times and failed, and is still failing.
These attacks are not for the Miraculous. They're for information, and also: framing Marinette.
Here's a very quick and short rundown of the Akumas we have so far, and their reasonings. These aren't in any particular order (minor spoilers uphead for Climatiqueen! You've been warned)
Maya(?): Constantly dismissed by everyone around her. This includes Marinette. She gets upset and becomes "Illustrahater"
Sublime's Mom: Ladybug destroys her daughter's prosthetic legs, thus making her lose a sponsorship. She's becomes "Sublimation". (Interestingly enough, this one is Ladybug doing the damage, not Marinette. Maybe Lila saw her pretending to be Akumatized in the showers? And getting soap in Sublime's prosthetics?)
Sabrina's father: Due to a misunderstanding, Sabrina ends up going to Marinette's sleepover. A confrontation ensues, causing Sabrina to run out crying. Her father finds out and is furious. He becomes "Daddycop."
Millie: Both of Adrien's grandfather's bicker about custody over him. Emil is AN ASS to Millie, until she finally snaps and grabs the twin rings. She becomes "Ringmaster." (This one, Marinette isn't the cause at all. But she IS there. Interesting.)
Vincent: A creep who's far too interested in a child's romantic life makes up a bunch of lies about Marinette, causing her to be harassed. Alya uses her illusions to trick him into admitting he's been lying. He loses tons of subscribers, and becomes "Revelator."
(spoilers)Aurore: in a desperate attempt to win Chloe's influencer contest, Aurore lies on the internet about Adrien and Marinette breaking up. It still doesn't work, and with 10 minutes left in the contest, she gets akumatized and becomes "Climatiqueen."
This probably seems ridiculous to write out because duh, the fandom already knows this. But what I've seen is just the consensus she's trying to make people think Marinette is like Chloe, or something along those lines.
But like I said earlier: it's to frame Marinette. She's trying to make people think SHE'S the new Hawkmoth. Not all of these are technically "caused" by Marinette, but she is in close proximity. In Climatiqueen, Relevator, and Werepapas, Marinette is just associated with them. Which could be argued that it's for "revenge." For Vincent and Aurore lying about her, and for Adrien's grandparents being dicks.
Could this all just be bullshit? Possibly! Am I just pointing out the obvious? Also possible! My brain is fried and I have no confidence in myself.
And I'm aware this doesn't explain the London Special, where she did have a wish. I'm not saying she doesn't want the wish at all, but she's certainly not trying to get them at this very moment in the season. I honestly have no clue what the wish could be.
I would love to hear some thoughts. I'm super interested in Lila this season, and I desperately want to know what the hell is going on in her head.
