Progress of an§ on going painting.

I always start my paintings by creating my idea/design using iPad (procreate). Once I am pretty happy with it and I know how it would look like roughly I pick a canvas size which in this case I have decided it will be A3 and I start sketching. Once I finish with my sketching I delude some burnt amber with oil medium and i paint all of my canvas with that deluded paint so i can seal my pencil drawing. After that i take cotton buds and i wipe off some of the paint so i can mark the lighter parts. When that first layer is dry i start laying down the second layer of paint which normally is just dark and light parts and some mid tones. The third layer for me is usually all about values and some details on the painting, but in this case i have one extra step in my process where i focus only on the colourful part which are the flowers in the centre of the painting. After I am close to being done with them I go on with my usual painting plan. Once all the steps are done successfully and the painting it’s completely dry i have a fourth and last layer which is all about details and touch ups.
