That sounds like a lot of bad things to happen within fifteen minutes. Be sure to be cautious out and around today.

This morning, I’ve learned that stairs = bad idea when half awake, our milk is definitely expired, Oscar (our cat) wishes they brought home a fish instead of a little brother for her from the hospital twenty-one years ago, my dad was left alone to his own devices in the kitchen (he’s burned water— seriously, if you see him in your kitchen, run), and I left wet clothes in the washer. To make matters worse, I’ve only been up for fifteen minutes.

Is that a thing? Mini shampoos?  

I don’t often question my own choices, but I can’t for the life of me figure out why I needed to bring home mini hotel shampoos. It’s not exactly expensive stuff.

On that note, if anyone needs a mini bottle of shampoo I’m the girl to talk to.

It’s always acceptable! Everyone needs a break from reality at some point. 

I don’t know if it’s because it’s a sunday, or if I’ve officially reached burnout status, but my productivity for today is nonexistent. It’s totally acceptable to take a bit of a break from actual responsibilities in favor of messing around with social media, right?

That’s good. I mean, it’s fine to know what you like, but you clearly have never been to a shelter before if you think that that’s how it works. You’ll see a dog and you’ll both just fall in love with each other, and it likely won’t be any of the breeds you listed. Will the dog be left alone a lot during the day?

No, I’ve never been to a shelter, the only dog I’ve had was given to me as a gift. I hope that’s how it works, I know I want to fall in love before I decide to adopt. I work 9-5 so yeah it’ll mostly be at home during the day but I have an hour break that I run home on so that’s a plus.

Any kind of rescue is great. You’re more likely to find a mutt than either of the first two, pure breeds aren’t as common in shelters, I think. Plus, the ones that do end up in shelters get snatched up quickly, but I’d love to help you pick one out.

You’re right. I know, I’m expecting to find mutts. I don’t mind mutts, I’ve just always had a soft spot for a Shepherd and Husky. I’ve actually got someone going with me to help me out. Thank you though.

You could always call those shelters and find out what they have? Also, you might like totally fall in love with a dog once you meet him or her.

I kind of want it to be a surprise. I just want to fall in love like you said.
