i need to rant about my life for a moment sorry

so i moved back in with my parents back in december because i'm broke and need to figure out what i'm doing with my life. which is fine. i love my parents. but trying to cram everything i own into one bedroom after having half a house is hard. so a lot of my stuff ended up in the basement. including a LOT of boxes of books, some from my teen years and a lot of stuff i haven't read yet. well our air conditioner is leaking and so i've lost five boxes of books and i'm (in my opinion, rightfully) upset and my parents are telling me to grow up as if that isn't easily $300 worth of books i had to THROW OUT because they're moldy.

anyway. i'm having a bad night!

the thing is. i really, genuinely think that after getting over the initial shock (and horror) that is learning that his mother is boning samuel winchester, he...wouldn't hate it?

hear me out- with his mother preoccupied with the giant moose man, he's able to do what he wants. only...crowley learns, slowly, that he doesn't know what he wants. he has more free time than he can handle, he's get hell running like a well-oiled machine, and with both winchesters preoccupied (sam with rowena and dean with castiel) he's practically left to his own devices.

and that's when crowley realizes he's lonely.

yes, his mother is annoying and terrible and cruel- but now she barely bothers him aside to ask him to the occasional lunch. dean spends so much time with the angel he only responds to every fifth text. even his demons seem bored of him constantly hovering around hell.

so, almost on accident, he starts...hanging out with his mother and sam winchester. it's a little nauseating, at first- witnessing his mother flirt has never been his favorite thing, but seeing it reciprocated is even worse. but somehow, they end up with a standing thursday night dinner date, and crowley...likes the normalcy of it, after awhile.

(but he'll never admit it to either of them, of course.)
