Introduction Post

Hello & Welcome!

I’m Corin and this blog is for posting things relevant to my Descendants fanfictions/AUs. That’s plural because one turned into two turned into five. They’re all in the works and none are complete yet. I’ll do my best to come up with some sort of update schedule and hold myself to it.

I’ve only seen the movies. I have not read the books or watched the webserie, thus my AUs are mostly influenced by the movies and what I’ve managed to gleam off the internet. I’m also writing AUs, so they’re not meant to be set within the canon. The stories I write will be set within my own interpretation and tweaking of the original Descendants setting.

I’m also going to be exploring the dark themes that Disney the mouse probably won’t touch. I’ll do my best to keep tags as organized as possible, as well as tag anything with mature content/themes or triggers. (If I’m not tagging something that is a trigger, please let me know and I’ll do my best to remember to tag it.)

I’ll be posting character introductions, descriptions, and aesthetics; AU introductions and descriptions; one shots, snippets, and whatever else comes to mind. 

Feel free to ask me any questions, give me feedback, or send me prompts to write.

It’s going to be a clustered mess the first couple of days here as I get this place up and running, so please bear with me.

As with all writers, any and all feedback and encouragement is greatly appreciated.

I’m also going to thank my two lovely roommates who will probably never see this post for helping me edit the works. Bless their souls for putting up with my writing madness.
