Fuck me!!!! 🤦🏻‍♂️😩🔫😵🔫 So this last 2 weeks haven’t been very good for me whatsoever! 3rd gear synchro has been an issue ever since I left WA in 2014 after installing a South Bend Dual Disk clutch. Been going strong though. Just gotta be easy with it or k ow exactly when to shift it or give the skinny peddle a tap or two when going into 3rd. That was until last week when I got back from Vegas and picked up my truck. It was doing good, nothing seemed wrong until I came to a stop sign and was fighting to get it to come out of 3rd gear. Finally it came out but that’s the last time I was able to use 3rd. You can shift it where 3rd would normally be but it’s like you put it in neutral. 4 days later same thing happened with 4th but didn’t get stuck. It was just hard getting it in and out but not stuck. 3 days later 5th goes out the same way 4th did. So I’m now stuck with reverse, 1st, 3rd and 6th gears. And the cheapest ZF 6-Speed I can locate is $2500. About $4000 for a stock factory ZF 6 and about $5000 for what I’d need. That’s all just prices I’m finding around here at least. I’ll be honest with y’all. Life in California blows! I’m not living all great and wonderful as anyone may think so $$$ isn’t something I can just spend on anything like I use to. CAN ANYBODY HELP ME OUT WITH ANY INFORMATION LEADING TO A DECENT USED OR POSSIBLY NEW ZF 6-SPEED OR EVEN PARTS AT A GOOD PRICE PLEASE!?!?!?!?!? Well I damn near almost traded a guy straight across for my truck (HULK) today. Would’ve definitely been his come up!!! $$$ Value wise that is. Ever since I was scared into getting rid of my 1995 OBS (Jolly Green Giant) I have always wanted another. Always planned on getting another. Even though nothing could ever take the place of that thing, it’d be nice to still have an OBS of some sort. It was nice and the guy actually was all for it! All to come to find out it was a fuckin gasser.....😒😔😤 however idk my trucks been through the fuckin wringer. It’s not the truck it once was at all. Me myself has been through the wringer here in the past 7 years and I legit could give 2 shits about this truck for a while! Neglected the living hell out of it. Just like that annoying little brother or something that you constantly are trying to get away from and he always somehow finds you though is the way this truck has stuck around. It’s given me problems here and there but nothing major. All the problems I can honestly say have just been my dumbass being cheap or trying to take the quick way around things. Things my dad would just be floored over if he was to be here and know about. I was never taught anything except excellence as it pertains to a vehicle.
