Exciting Announcement for the RTC Graphic Novel Project!!

Hello, Cyclonians!

After a long discussion and a lot of planning, we have decided that the best way to get the graphic novel project off the ground as soon as possible would be to open up participation to any artists in the fandom who would like to collaborate with us. Similarly, we would also very much appreciate the involvement of fans who don't draw but would like to participate in ways other than illustration. What we have planned would be a lot for two people, but we believe with the right support it can be done. Something this big needs a team behind it and we hope to find people who are as excited about this passion project as we are and would like to join us. Artists of all skill levels are welcome, so long as they are willing to put in their best efforts.

We've prepared an application for anyone interested, which you can find here:

Awesome art of our Ricky design!!

I think Ricky likes the little glowing star hanging from the ceiling...

I messed up every single part of this drawing 3 times at minimum, but i tried to fic it and this is the best I could do 👍🏻 I had to cut his lower half because I also messed up that and if I had to do more fixing I would already be sobbing, Idk but this was really hard for some reason, and I don't know in which moment he ended up in a dark void with a glowing star decoration.

He lowkey gives me wizard vibes...

RTC graphic novel designs, take 2!!

Hi RTC fandom!!

A while back, @forecast-disaster and I created these designs for our graphic novel project, and then I drew them and posted them. But we’ve been practicing since then, and I felt like doing a redraw with a little more polish using some new technical skills I’ve learned over the past few months. So here is our choir, once again!! We hope you like them!

top right is the choir inbox version of misha. i didnt know what to make his expression so i gave him that odd ass smile SORRY. he was designed by the also awesome and talented @4pplec0re

bottom middle is another one drawn from memory and i FORGOT WHOSE DESIGN IT IS. plssss let me know if you think it’s yours so i can credit you 😭

I was originally going to draw her in paper but I couldn't sit up properly because my legs are sore from hiking so I couldn't get to draw with my alcohol markers so I just did her digitally comfortably in my bed :3 I love this Jane a lot, I tried my best even though I was a little rushed (I think it's noticeable) also I have no idea how to shade so I just put in random colors in the hair so it's a little strange.

I'm very excited to say we're beginning to get fan art. I'll be reblogging any drawings folks make for us here, along with posting some updated art of our designs. We're not really changing anything design-wise, but we've been practicing and getting more familiar with our designs so I feel like doing a redrawing.

we’re going with the better known fall fair suite! we initially were going to do a poll for which intro to the choir we would use, but a different blog did a poll asking people to pick their favorite intro song around the same time. fall fair suite won their poll, so to save some time and get to scripting faster, bunny and i decided to go with that one!

Any plans for when the first chapter might drop?

The goal is to post the first chapter sometime around mid 2025. We're still working up the script into the framework for the novel and we still have some stuff to do design wise, but once we're done with that the plan is to start making actual pages to have something ready around that time.

This will definitely take some time yet, but we think everyone will find it worth the wait C:
