Being straight, you are attracted strictly to someone of the opposite gender, whether that be in a romantic, sexual —or a combination of both— way.

That is the exact same as being gay, lesbian, bisexual, etc. The gender simply changes.

I don’t look and assume a straight couple is talking openly about their sex life to everyone.

Quit having sex be the first thing and the only thing that comes to mind when you see or hear about an LGBTQ+ person/couple.

"aros can still date" well i don't want to. "aros can be in qprs" well i don't want to. "aros can still get married" i cannot stress enough how much i don't want to do that. remaking because the last post died. I'm a schizospec chronically ill trans guy who's currently unable to continue commission work due to my worsening physical pain and fatigue. currenty I have no other form of income, yet I still need to afford things such as groceries and basic necessities.

my disability benefits are currently being processed, but I have zero clue when I'll start getting them. I'll set a tentative goal of £150 to help cover all of my expenses next month + help my girlfriend out with bills. please share around and help out if you can. thank you all so so much

Idk what trans man needs to hear this but you're NOT evil or disgusting for being a man. You do NOT have to suffer for the sins of the patriarchy committed by cis dudes. Being a man doesn't invalidate the misogyny you experienced growing up or experience now. Being a man doesn't mean you deserve to be isolated. Being a man doesn't mean you're inherently predatory or scary. You didn't "choose" this, and finding your true self is NOT "betraying the community" because you happen to be a man and/or masculine rather than a woman and/or feminine. You ARE allowed to be upset when people "affirm" your gender by malgendering you.

You DO deserve a community that uplifts you. You DO deserve to experience trans joy. You DO deserve to have your voices heard and your struggles recognized. Wanting the bare minimum of solidarity is NOT "making everything about trans men".

A cis woman tells me that maybe she should transition to gain male privilege as I'm recovering from getting beaten up in the men's bathrooms.
