INITIATIVE 002 | DONATE 2 SKATE X DAVE TORO

WINNER : MICHAEL ROBINSON

We are proud to announce the winner of our 2nd initiative in collaboration with Dave Toro.

Michael Robinson, nominated by Rudy Family member Mal Ashby, is a relatively new comer to the sport, but has been quickly honing his skills into becoming smooth as silk. We are proud to gift these skates and parts, along with one of our new Rudy tee’s to Michael.

COLLABORATION 001 | BE-MAG X RUDY

We are proud to announce our first collaboration with Be-Mag.

Currently the longest running publication in the industry, Be-Mag prides itself on keeping its finger on the pulse of blading, providing continuous coverage throughout the spectrum of the sport.

Our collaboration tee features the classic Be-Mag logo printed in the standard 6″ x 6″ box. On the back, you’ll find the Rudy logo printed 3″ x 3″ right below the neck. Printed on Bella + Canvas 3001 tees, these are available for pre-order and ship October 19th, 2018. They’ll also be available for purchase at Blading Cup in limited amounts. 

All proceeds from the sale of this shirt go directly to Be-Mag. The fund will assist in paying contributors, producing events, and potentially getting Be-Mag back to print.

INITIATIVE 003 | THE ASTORIA PARK PROFESSIONAL CONFERENCE

For our 3rd initiative, with our stern belief in the importance of competitions and events within the sport, we felt it was fitting to announce our first annual competition, titled The Astoria Park Professional Conference.

The competition will be divided into a handful of formats, including flatland, best trick, and overall first place prize for one’s general ability in how they perform during the competition.

Here are some more details about the competition:

- The competition will take place on Saturday, October 20th, 2018. Rain date is Sunday, October 21st, 2018. Check In and Late Registration begin at 11am. Competition will start promptly at 1pm.

- You can register now by purchasing a spot via our Big Cartel, which you can visit here, or register the day of the competition. Spots will be limited.

- All registration fees collection will go directly to the cash prize pool.

- We’ll be announcing additional sponsors as we continue to produce and promote the event.
