I remember going to the clinic around 3 pm to get some meds. I was not feeling well.

I saw you inside the HR's office with Sir Jerald who was taking a look at your laptop. I asked for yournpermission if I could get some meds and you just nod. After I got them, I said my thanks to you but you went outside and said your kumusta.

"Huyyy.. Kumusta naman ka, Gold? Mingaw nami nimo?"

I was about to say "Okay ra, Miss". But something in me stopped me and it was the first time I realized that you have beautiful eyes. Round-like, doe-eyed almond eyes. Just can't figure it out if they are brown or black.

Worse. My heart started beating differently. But I shrugged it off and responded to you.

"Unsay gimingaw mi nimo. Yuck kaluod miss. Eww eww.." And you laughed and tried to gently slap my arm for such a foolish reply.

I bid goodbye and thanked you for letting me get some meds.

But as I walk towards the elevator, I know my heart is saying this is going to be different.

I know and convinced myself that I was still trying my best to win my ex back but you just came in like a plot twist - that I was unable to shield myself.

Next thing I know, my heart is under arrest again.
