anemone : how does your muse view the world ; as a cruel & unforgiving place , a land full of wonders , or something in - between ? where does that world view come from ( what experiences , life lessons , etc . ) ?

Quark's view of the world is… complicated. If you want a simple answer - scam or be scammed. His defensive position is to dig in hard with traditional Ferengi logic. To quote the Rules of Aquisition and stick by them until they give up or give in. But having left Ferenginar to make his own fortune and being exposed to so many strange people with weird ideas, it's getting harder and harder to mindlessly accept the things he always took as fact. Quark is a stubborn man, however. Change for him comes slow if at all. But the change is there, if you look hard enough. He's starting to see that maybe it's not all as cut and dry as he was lead to believe. Which he's sure he can exploit for profit somehow.

He is very bad at silence. Being alone in it or maintaining it. For a man who complains about his neighbours being too loud, he can't handle it otherwise. He just immediately gets all in his own head, overthinking everything and worrying. Quark funtions better in the chaos of the bar where he has a dozen things all fighting for his attention at any given moment. If he doesn't have time to think, he doesn't have time to worry.

He will never admit that he wants someone, like really wants someone. Not just as a fling or for sex or whatever. He wants someone who actually sees him as he is and loves him anyway. But admitting that means letting go of so many things he can't stop believing he needs to be a successful Ferengi. And, more than that, he strongly believes that there really is no one who will ever want him the way he wants to be wanted.

lily : how does your muse view their mother ?

Quark and his mother are entirely too much alike. All of the things that annoy him about himself, he got from her. But that's also where he gets his strength. Their relationship is rocky at best and always complicated. That said, if you hurt Moogie, he will end you.

2. How did you get into this franchise/fandom?

It's a very long confusing story that involves TOS playing at like 3am on some random channel in the 90s and also me watching all of TNG in the span of a week. And now I am here.

13. Are there any other characters from the franchise you’d like to play?

I mean, I play a few. I tried Garak for a bit, but I don't think I can pull it off. I have strongly considered Lwaxana because I love her dearly and I feel like she could be a lot of fun. And, honestly, I've also been thinking about bringing my Khan back.

Do not encourage this. I don't need more muses. I need adult supervision is what I need.

- In human terms, it was a lower middle class neighbourhood. His father was never much of a businessman. His successes were minor at best. Quark found this DEEPLY embarrassing. His mother still lives in the same house but he, of course, lives on Deep Space Nine.
