they're knights of the round, so 14th century-ish is the intention. they were very good friends growing up, started to dip romantic which kinda scared nico so he left for italy. percy hates him for that ++ theres also grief so he ends up sleeping with bianca as shes like. the closest to nico he can get T_T and when nico comes back for the fall he finds out and also that his sister died which is why he hates percy. I want them to torture each other in dark uncomfortable arthurian fantasy
