The reason i wanted to do this sprite specifically is because the reading notes animation leant itself to a lot of fun potential art-wise and i HAD to capitalize on it

i honestly made ones more interesting then any the ones in the games (Tho nahyuta's never-ending scroll, athena's holograms, and taka holding the paper are kinda charming to me) but i think it's fun to find creative ways to use their magic for small stuff like this for this au.

I dunno what it is, but the smug ass taunting faces of ace attorney sprites made me wanna do them specifically, like i HAD to draw them. Especially so luz can hold glyphs in hers and amity can do this very specific pose with abomination goo.

drawing the palisman was kinda fun with this one, like the reason i'm keeping them out of staff form for these is because they'd be way more fun to include in sprites this way

Curse whoever sent me that ask about Cookie Run Kingdom months ago.

I checked it out this past week and I am… really enjoying it.

"Oooh, shapeshifting! I'm not very good at that yet!" The mortals here had lots of cool abilities!

He listened as Black Star explained the two games, kinda curious how you made a game outta cooking - he'd always thought that was a mortal chore? How did they make it fun?

When Black Star settled on her suggestion, The Collector echoed her, throwing his arms into the air, "Dancing game! Lead the way!"

"No way.. really? I can only fly if I shape-shift into a bird." Black Star replied, awestruck by what The Collector revealed to her about himself. It was funny, the Gem always wished that she could fly.

She noticed him pulling out a large handful of coins. Maybe he was already prepared ahead of time? With a loud hum, Black Star had to tap her chin as she pondered on an answer. "That's a tough one. I really like the dancing game, but I also like cooking game, Cooking Aunt! But between the two.."

Following an exhale, Black Star zealously exclaims "dancing game!"

pokemon au my beloved

I had fun coming up with these, the siliies.

If anyone cares, heres why i picked these ones:

Both of them had Phantumps for partners, both possesing carvings Caleb made, Caleb's which evolved into a Trevenant.

Philip's team is really fun. Aside from the Phantump, i gave him a ponyta because the headcannon that he's a horse girlie is amazing and I also think he's a bit of an arsonist, especially later on in life (iykyk)

The honedge is obvious, it a ghost dagger lol. I also like the idea that it is sometimes possesed by a spirit killed by the dagger/sword. (I wonder who could that be)

The hisuian zorua someone suggested and I really like the idea (thank you for the idea <3) and also in its dex entry it says it feeds off of malice and resentment, which im sure Philip has a bit of for witches, again, especially when he gets older.

And i think once he gets to the Isles, he'll get a Runerigus (another suggested idea <3) because it kinda looks like the glyphs on his arm as well as Sigilyph, which's name is literally sigil and glyph.

As for Caleb, his partner it the Trevenant becuase of the wood carving stuff and I also think the shiny version was way more aesthetic

The corvisquire and the pikachu are their parent's survivng partners. Corvisquire (and its evolved form) remind me of the blue jacket and also play on the whole Caleb being Philip's "knight or guard"

The pikachu is purely so Hunter can have a Mimikyu hehehe

As for the Lampent, Caleb claims it isnt his but it seems to like to follow him around everywhere and everyone think its an omen but nothing bad has happened yet so...

She kicks Caleb's ass any time they do a friendly battle

Her partner is actually Flapjack aka Fletchinder.

The delphox fits perfectly, its a mystic witch fox and I think most of the clawthornes give off foxy energy

I hc that she's really good at illusions so zoroark.

The houndoom reminds me of the boiling isles (bones and demons and such) and i think it just fits.

The applin was given to her from Caleb because I like to think the whole apple blood thing came from them brining apples to the demon realm.
