can you imagine criticising a game of dnd with ur friends like some people criticise dimension 20. why are people throwing fits about narrative choices and themes and npc arcs as if the show is anything more than a dnd game filmed for public consumption (albeit w crazy production value) like imagine going up to ur dm at the end of a 5 hour session and being like hey man I know you invented this world entirely on your own and painstakingly included our 6 characters into your story with incredible care and attention so that we all had something fun to do on a saturday night but not all of the plot threads got tied up by the end so the whole thing was narratively unsatisfying and pointless. I just can't believe people watch d20 and think anything other than 'oh wow I'm so glad I get to watch these 7 friends play a game together im so lucky!!' Why are people criticising it like its a scripted show!! It's a different thing!!!!
