Also there's no such thing as "looking fit" there are thin people in bad shape and fat people in good shape (like me -- I literally just finished playing a 90 min. soccer game. We won!) but the vast majority of people will tell you only thin people can be in shape. You just said that yourself!!!
Nono you're taking my words out of context. Read this next part carefully. "Looking fit" is an image. Its a brand. Its a standard. Looking fit means you can see the muscle build and tone. Just because you dont look fit doesnt mean you're not healthy. But congratulations on winning! (no sarcasm intended what so ever)

you're trying to use a shitty song and a couple campaigns as validation that people are turning against skinny people? read the comments on any plus size related post/video/campaign or w/e and see how much hate it gets. I was obese, overweight, underweight, and now I am healthy. I was treated soooo much better when I was underweight and now when I am healthy then I ever was before.
Alrighty, imma say this ONE MORE DAMN TIME. Body positive campaigns very rarely include skinny people today. By trying to get rid of fat shaming we're creating a new problem of skinny shaming. Its not out of hand yet like it is with fat shaming but its GETTING THERE. I am not going to change my opinion. And i certainly dont care about yours. So this is the LAST time im repeating myself

You should really just do that survey. Go out, and ask the first 50 (or more) people if it's better to be fat or thin. That will show you what society says. If you're in school you could do it there.
There is such thi g as looking fit. Im not saying that if you dont look fit, you're not healthy, im just saying theres a specific image. And it definetly is better being skinny (healthy skinny noy anorexic) because its way less health problems and risks. Im not saying its worse. Im saying that we shouldn't get rid of the fat shaming problem by creating a skinny shaming one.

This is why the media outlets that about body positivity misty cater to chubby girls, because we literally don't have other representation. But like I said, if you want thin body positivity go look at almost any magazine, movie, etc. you could even look at fitness and fitspo blogs on here-- those are literally all thin bodies and only about how there's nothing better than being thin and being fat is bad and wrong and gross. Do you know of entire blogs talking about thin people like that?
Fitness centres use thin people because they LOOK FIT.

Don't forget there was a Reddit thread called fatpeoplehate that had literally over 100,000 members. It's dissolved now but come back in different forms -- if you need to feel good about being thin you could talk to any of those people. Do you know of any place where that many people come together specifically about how much they hate thin people? Probably not cause it doesn't exist cause thin people aren't hated in society the way fat people are.
LITERALLY MEGHAN TRAINERS SONG "ABOUT THAT BASE" OR WHATEVER ITS CALLED. THAT SHAMES SKINNY PEOPLE. SO DONT EVEN

I'm sorry I didn't realize you were 17. I usually try to avoid interacting a lot online with people who are underage... I just hope that you can figure this out someday! It's clear that I'm not helping you...
Dont get me wrong here, a lot of people are still very negative about the whole plus size body image thing and i get that and believe me, but i just mean that so far we cant find the balance. Just because Hollywood ideals are skinny doesnt mean that it supports skinny people everywhere. You know who it supports? The 0.001% of the population. Do you really think that skinny people hear 'go eat a sandwich' just once in a while? No. We hear it constantly and it makes us so self concious, especially if we cant do anything about it, and when we look for support to those body positive campaigns, do you know what we find? A bunch of beautiful plus sized models and people that we will never look like.

do... you not live on planet earth? maybe that's how you missed the entire industry based on making little girls hate themselves for being over 100lbs
How about people being made to hate themselves if theyre under a hundred pounds but can do absolutely nothing about that?

You really think that there's nothing that shames people for being fat? Have you really thought this through? Maybe you think this because you're so used to fat shaming that you don't see it? Either way, let me help you. Think about famous people, actresses, models, etc. how many of them are fat? For those who are fat, how is their being fat treated? What kind of jokes do you hear about people's size? When you see weight commercials what do the before and afters look like?
There are plus sized positive campaigns everywhere and im not against it BUT ITS SUCH A POPULAR ISSUE AND IT ALREADY HAS SOOOOO MUCH SUPPORT. AND EVEN THOUGH THEY'RE BODY POSITIVE CAMPAIGNS NEVER DO THEY EVER INCLUDE SKINNY OR PETITE PEOPLE. NOW PEOPLE ARE BEING SHAMED FOR BEING SKINNY

Before I met him, I would dance in the shower. When he was in my life, I would think about showering with him. After he left, I would sit on the ground in the shower and cry. When I got over him, I showered so quickly there was no time for dancing, fantasies or tears. Someone can invade the smallest parts of your life, you won’t even realize it until you dance in the shower again and wonder why you ever stopped.
