Reading the Farseer Trilogy next 👀 got the used ones w illustrated covers which.. I thought was cool because old-school Fantasy covers have a vibe yaknow but they've white washed the protagonist?? What??

Reading Hélène Cixous' essays about art. I really really enjoy her writing style.. (it's the German translation.. bc.. French. Even through the translation her voice is very prominent. (Though word plays and such do not always makes sense in translation.. . But THAT ist why -> Annotations!)

i am looking at several german translations of les fleurs du mal and oh boy do they differ.. big L on the one i got from the local library smh. changed the whole rhyme scheme and made it unreadable for no reason?? man had the choice between aesthetics and accuracy and didn't go for either....?
