8/31: we spent a whole day exploring olympia. cool town! this is Squaxin Park

we stopped in for some chowder and oysters at the Hama Hama Seafood Co. before pressing on southward toward Olympia

8/30: with weather forecasted to be on the sunny side of ambiguous, we decided to head up Mt Townsend, another classic eastern Olympic hike

on our second visit to the Geoduck, this soaking wet man showed up at the back door carrying an injured bald eagle.
