When I first discovered this platform years ago, I went by the name Slayomi Campbell. I was an archivist, diving deep into the world of fashion—researching every fashion house, watching designer interviews, studying runway shows on YouTube, and learning everything I could about each model to truly understand who they were.
I brought that same passion to the metaverse platform IMVU, where I connected with like-minded individuals who shared my deep admiration for fashion. It wasn’t just about labels or name brands; it was about the drama, storytelling, craftsmanship, detail, and knowing which model was wearing which piece from each collection.
Today, I want to bring that same thrill and excitement I felt as a 12- to 17-year-old back to platforms like Tumblr and Second Life. This year, my focus is on being consistent with every project I take on, honoring the love for fashion that has always driven me.
