// So I've just been royally fucked over to the point I need to vent a little.

I recently had a lot of bills come in at once from jobs that needed to be done on my home, I had some savings and did some planning to organise how I'd afford it, no problems I simply informed the parties responsible to split the tasks/bills up over the next two months. That way they do one job, I pay them, I don't waste their time, the next month comes, they do the next. same thing, simple right?

Well, it turns out the fuckers decided to not inform me they weren't going to do that and just did everything at once. Hey presto one big payment taken out of my bank. I'd already done the planning for over the next months so I could afford everything and still be stable but because of this, I literally have nothing for the following month to pay regular bills!

This was all communicated literally at the start of June and they've been silent the entire time, They had messages and e-mails asking/informing them with no reply, so I figured they were just going to do as asked. if they had an issue and wanted it all paid instantly they'd have replied right? Could've told me and I would have adjusted plans over this month, no problem. But nope!

I've literally only just found out this moment what they've done.

So depending on what is sorted on my end as I arrange things to fix this mess, I'm probably going to have to vanish for a month. Wish me luck.

"It's not my fault you were incapable of looking between the lines, it's pretty obvious what it meant, so don't even start to give me that." Now he was leaning more towards his playful side properly as he poked fun at her with a smile.

"Sides, when did you get an appreciation for jokes? I thought training was basically the only thing you cared about."

Twinkle raised an eyebrow, looking unimpressed. "Wow, you really have a talent for killing the mood, don't you?"

It wouldn't be too difficult to spot a familiar demon-hog in most ordinary places, given his track record of appearances with that rugged long coat of his. So when observing eyes would catch sight of someone sharing a LOT of traits with them amongst the crowds in a new town but lacking their favoured attire, if the person they saw was indeed him, why in chaos was he wearing that outfit instead?

Maybe he'd finally gone for a fashion change? If he had, it clearly hadn't changed how much he stood out, just in a different way.

Considering the last time he'd spoken with Ember, there wasn't a chance he'd actually followed her on her own journey venturing outwards and was just trying to blend in to keep an eye on her without her knowing, right?

Regardless of the cause or reasoning, there was only one way to find out for sure.

"If you've come here to start some something, you've picked a really bad time because I'm just about ready to start....." A familiar tone would speak rather aggressively from the nearby woods but once the demon-hog emerged from it and saw whom had arrived near his hideaway, upon his eyes spotting Kokoro almost immediately would he cut himself off, pausing briefly from the awkward introduction.

Adopting a far more at ease and apologetic stance, Dan would readdress her with a smile. "Oh Kokoro it's you! I'm sorry about that, I thought you were some returning idiots trying to wreck the place again." It wasn't too often he'd get a visitor, at least not one that wasn't some curious souls chasing rumours or looking for trouble so her arrival was a genuine surprise to him. "What are you doing all the way out here? Everything ok?"

He knew from prior encounters she was the wandering sort herself but it was funny how things worked at times when you met familiar faces in not so common areas. that detail alone having him chortle to himself briefly in the moment. "I was just prepping some food for myself before I headed out on patrol, if you fancy a bite you can join me if you'd like?"

Awkward pause follows as he attempts to grasp what was said, it swims in his mind the entire duration before giving up.

"Uhh, one more time please?"

"That makes sense to me, I like to explore the realms myself, can get some amazing views in some of them." It was impossible to not find himself agreeing with Notori's comments, even if it did sound unusual from a boy claiming to be an angel.

Not that Dan himself was one to talk much on that front either.

"Not to mention, there's plenty of individuals to run into and get to know, so it's next to impossible to expect the same kind of meeting twice." The next question gave the demon-hog a slight pause, there was plenty to say but just what exactly should he share? It's not like he knew everything even if he did spend so much time here.

"In my experiences, mobius is kinda crazy, not inherently in the bad way or anything, just you never quite know what's going to happen....one moment your just chilling out or visiting your friends, then the next there's some sorta robot invasion or disaster."

"Sorry if it's hardly the most descriptive answer you were hoping for but while I do look at this place fondly as a home, I'm not a local myself either.....so probably better to ask one of them if you want a proper introduction to the place and it's day to day stuff."

He chuckles a bit at the assumption that he was dead. The angel was so used to that assumption that it didn't really offend him at all.

"Nah, it's perfectly fine! I tend to get that a lot from people I meet. Though... to answer your question, I'm not actually dead. I was always born an angel, really!"

"I usually travel to random places whenever I get bored. Y'know, kinda like sightseein' in a way! 'Helps keep my mind and body fresh usually!"

Notori's never been to Mobius before, so this was all pretty new to him so far. But from the looks of it, it looked identical to that of Earth in a way.

"Though, now that you've mentioned it... It is my first time bein' in Mobius... What's this place usually like, if you don't mind me asking?"

He questioned curiously. One thing when it comes to Notori's travels across different worlds is learning about their culture, as it greatly fascinates him.
