Konig does not suffer from shyness in the sense that he's reserved and visibly nervous. His kind of shyness tends to come across as rudeness or extreme disinterest. Always towards strangers (naturally).

His answers will be short because he is not good with small talk or everyday conversation. He will stand off to the side or move himself a distance away when others around him are engaged in banter simply because he does not ever know when the appropriate time to interject or add to an exchange is.

On the surface he has an aloofness that gets him pigeon holed as someone who hates to be approached. The sheer magnitude of his height and the way that he carries himself both contribute to this assumption.

I like to think he's better with the people he knows. But it takes a long time for a stranger to fully process that he's not quite as barbed as you would initially think.
