The last thing Rosalie wanted to talk about was Aro but it was impossible to ignore his presence. With him in Forks, there was a chance the Volturi could descend upon them and take whatever they felt the need to. At least Rosalie didn't have to fear for the human life in the area as the Italian coven was very strict about exposure. "Your company is required." Laying back on the ground, the blonde pulled the brunette down with her. "The whole sun thing is going to be an issue for a while still." She huffed. "I wish we could have stayed where we were."
The pixie-like vampire simply nodded. The man may not have been well known amongst some of the town folk, but his appearance was enough to make those who knew of the supernatural to be on edge. “I didn’t mean it as though he was actually welcomed here, but I can only imagine that more of the guard would show up, if he stayed longer… Jane did appear shortly thereafter.” Lips pursed together momentarily. It seemed like only yesterday they all stood toe to toe with the Volturi. Alice had all but disappeared prior to the meeting, leaving a lot of things unsettled amongst her family. “I wouldn’t mind keeping to myself.” Aro’s decisions were something she watched with intent. There wasn’t much he could do in lieu of danger that would go unnoticed. “Care for company throughout it?” The last thing she wanted was for the other woman to think she’d just up and leave again; it was something they had spoken of on more than one occasion.

"The beach." She smirked knowing full and well that it was impossible for vampires to walk beaches in front of humans. "One of the private variety." Isle Esme wasn't her secret to tell. If Esme wanted people outside of their coven to know of the private island Carlisle had bought for her that was her choice, not Rosalies. "Personal?" That made the womans face sour. What the hell could be personal aside from getting revenge for being embarrassed in front of his followers. "Alice is watching his thoughts, closely, so we'll know if he decides to bring harm."
“From where?” He asked, brown eyes curious looking at the vampire. “No they haven’t, which is unsettling, you’d think they would have. I talked to Aro and he said it was personal for why he is here.” He added, his features scrunched up, he didn’t not like knowing what they were up to.

"Even those who don't know who he is." Red eyes made most uncomfortable no matter who they belonged to. From what the blonde understood, not all vampires and shifters knew about the Volturi which wasn't uncommon for new comers. Most shifters had no need to know of te Volturi as they had no threat upon their life - not really. "You say that as if he was ever welcome." At least Jane wasn't running around flaunting her power like she often did. "I should probably be more alert or protective but after the last time I would prefer to keep to myself."
That smirk should be illegal. Shaking her head, Alice decided to forgo any protest, as they both knew it wasn’t true. “I’m not surprised,” she mused, leaning against the younger woman. “I’m not too sure what he expected to accomplish once he was here, but people who know who he is are a bit on edge.” Including herself. The Volturi were known for their heinous acts. “I’m just hoping he doesn’t decide to overstay his ‘welcome.’”

They both knew the word was a lie so there was no need in debating. Alice had Rosalie wrapped around her little finger, much like everyone else in the pixie vampires life. Fingers lightly trailed up and down the older vampires side as golden hues continued to drink in the scenery. It was no Isle Esme but Forks was beautiful. "I'm so glad you understand." She smirked. "Aro seems to have caused quite the stir with his arrival." She mused softly. "I find it hard to believe he's only here out of curiosity even though that's what you've seen and he's said."
An over dramatic gasp was forced from her lips as she turned in her spot to face the other woman. “Sometimes?” Alice’s brows knitted together before a pout took over her features. “I would have thought it was an all the times kind of thing.” Doing her best to hold up the facade, golden eyes sought like hues before she placed her cheek against Rosalie’s chest. Slender arms moved to wrap around the blonde’s torso as she let out a sigh. “I suppose sometimes will have to do.”

It was hard not to laugh when Brady mentioned the water evaporating. There was no denying how hot shifters were to the touch even though it never physically affected vampires. "The Volturi's arrival seems to have stirred up quite a bit." Her tone was curious, confused even, because no one was quite sure why Aro was looming about. "I'm quite well, thank you. Just returned from a short trip." Or short in vampire terms. Two weeks was considered a long vacation to those who weren't immortal. "Though, I do wish I wouldn't have returned to red eyes. Have they caused you any trouble?"

“I enjoy it too, mainly because sometimes I don’t need an umbrella, the rain just evaporates off my skin.” He said jokingly. “I’m good for the most part, just been on the edge of my seat, more of the Volturi coming into the town is not what I’ve been expecting. What about you?”

Rosalie was thankful for the cloud cover the past 24 hours as she was not stuck in her home. While she didn't particularly enjoy being around many people, the vampire tried to be somewhat social for appearance sake. After a short conversation with a resident she had taken up a friendship with, golden eyes fell on her niece. A warm smile spread across her face as she walked towards her, careful to do so at a human rate. "What brings you out here, Ness?"
Even though her skin didn’t sparkle like full fledged vampires, she found that even in the setting sun, she still went for shady spots. She was people watching, wondering about their lives. In such a small town, it was only a matter of time before someone approached her. She smiled at them.

"How odd. I don't know why someone would risk such a thing. Was is sentimental?"
“Just on that bench. I turned around to get my keys out of my bag and then it was gone.”

The smell of a shifter grew closer causing the blondes nose to turn up. While she seriously disliked the smell the people behind it weren't so bad; well not all of them. Golden hues continued to look at the scene though a smile tugged on her lips. "I quite enjoy the rain and not just because of the obvious." Finally, she glanced to the shifter. "Forks is beautiful. How are you, Brady?"
Brady had was on patrol, but that was done for some hours, the influx of vampires around making him just wanting to stay in this form forever it seemed. He had turn back to his human form, putting on a par of ripped jeans, nobody was near him, the quiet irked him in a way. Though when he smelled another, not of his kind nearby, he followed it, leading him to one of the Cullen’s. “It’s pretty nice here, people shun the rain a little too much.” He mused standing beside her.

"You could but I can't imagine it would be too comfortable." From what Rosalie understood the rain felt like needles hitting ones skin when driving through it. Immortality took away that pain for the blonde so it was easy for her to whip out on such vehicles. Golden hues glance to the box the girl spoke of before looking back towards her. "I find comfort in fixing cars and such. I'm planning on doing oil changes on all my families vehicles and fine tuning a few things." She shrugged. Most didn’t expect a tall statuesque blonde to be into something such as mechanics. "Are you into fixing cars?"

“Really? Looks like I’m out of luck then. Can’t ride a motorcycle in this weather,” she pouted a little before focusing on the other woman. And something caught her attention - she didn’t have a box full with groceries or anything like that, it was filled with oil and filters obviously for cars. “Sorry for the weird question, but are you fixing something?” she asked motioning with her head to the box.

Cocky. Alice Cullen was as cocky as they came sometimes. No one could deny her bubbly persona which often drew supernatural and humans alike to her side. The way she carried herself with confidence along with her ability had most immortals wishing for her to be theirs. She was a breath of fresh air in a polluted world! "Sometimes." She teased with a smirk.
“Phew!” A hand shot up to swipe across her forehead, when it was mentioned that she’d do the laundry; the act held a low position on her to-do list. It was rather amusing that of all the ‘children’ in the Cullen clan, Rosalie was the one who worked on cars. None of them ever complained about the blonde’s affinity for manual labor, as their engines purred like no others, but it was still an entertaining sight, all things considered. Her head fell back against the younger woman’s shoulder as a smirk took over her features. “And here I thought you were lucky with me in any manner.” Hands dropped to play with the other woman’s currently wrapped around her; running the length of her fingers.

"It definitely could be worse." Aro didn't seem to be in town to cause them any harm. However, that small bit of information didn't ease the trepidation certain people felt in his presence. "It was lovely, thank you! It's always good to come home but I do wish we could have stayed a little longer." It was no secret the two left abruptly and arrived home the same. Aro's arrival was the reason for their return.

A smile back at Rosalie flashed across her lips for a moment until the question came from the blonde’s lips, making it obvious that the smile had been forced. She sighed, unable to hold back the small noise of frustration. “I could be worse,” the nonspecific statement came out, another forced smile crossing her face for a moment. “How was your vacation?”

“I haven’t but I will keep my eyes open. Where did you put it down at?”
“Uhm, sorry, have you seen a book around here? It’s red. I only put it down for a second…”

Rosalie was thankful for the cloud cover so she wouldn't be stuck indoors all day, again. The vampire was on her way back to her car with a box full of oil and filters for her family's cars when the human caught her attention. "This is the wettest place in the continental US." She offered a sympathetic smile as she placed the box in the truck of her vehicle. "But, no. It's actually been all sunshine for the past 3 weeks."
“Oh crap,” Trish sighed getting out of her uncle’s car. It was raining for the third time today and it was not a good weather to ride a motorcycle. “Is it always this… wet here?” she asked to a nearest person, who looked like a local. Although, for her everyone looked like they have lived here for a long time.

Simple mundane tasks actually soothed Rosalie more than she would ever admit. There was something so incredibly human about washing clothes and hanging them on a line to dry. The simple act reminded her of her life back in Rochester, before that horrific night. "Actually, I would rather do the laundry to keep my hands busy. Tomorrow I plan on giving everyone oil changes for the same reason." Keeping busy left little time for thought. "I would rather be lucky with you in another manner."

A small shrug rocked her body as she looked up at the younger woman. It took everything in her not to point out that she was going to get dizzy one of these days. Alice would be the cause of that, if it were possible; there was no doubt in her mind. “It may not take long, but I don’t like doing it.” However much the fashion forward vampire loved clothes, she really wished they would learn to wash themselves. Placing her hands atop Rosalie’s, she let out a light gasp. “Do your laundry? If I didn’t know any better, I’d think you were trying to domesticate me.” Giggles bubbled in her chest as she stared down the blonde with a smile. “But I could possibly do that. Maybe. Possibly. If you’re lucky.”

"It was a fantastic place to be! One that I would have preferred to never leave but obligations brought me home." More like the vision of Aro arriving in Forks suddenly. Of course, that wasn't something she felt the need to discuss with the carefree shifter at her side. "Ohh. How did she take it?" Rosalie could only imagine how a human woman with Olivia's beliefs would react to it all. "I take it she hasn't run for the hills since you're both still around."
“Ooh la la.” He chuckled out. “Hey, I’d say that’s a great place to be these days. It seems to be beaming around here. I feel like we’ve stepped into the Twilight Zone.” Not that the sun was something he had to worry about. It did however make his raised body temperature a little less desirable to be around as it radiated off of him. “Ahh, they’ve been going pretty well, all things considered.” Moving around, Tucker leaned his weight against his palms. “I kind of accidentally phased in front of her before explaining everything… That’s still settling as we speak.”

Smelling Bella in the distance brought a smile to the blondes face. While they had suffered through differences at first they managed to overcome, which was a relief to most. "Hello, Bella." She glanced at her sister-in-law with a smile. "How are you?" A question that held so much weight. The The last time Aro was in Forks he had plans to destroy the brunettes daughter so Rosalie could only imagine how shaken she must have felt with his return.
Bella hadn’t seen Rosalie or Alice in weeks, but hadn’t asked –– neither had informed her, but no one had seemed worried openly. She was worried about a multitude of other things already on her mind, especially now that she knew Aro was in town. “Hey, Rose,” the brunette greeted, a soft smile warming her features.
