"Alright if you're certain," Regulus nodded in response. There was a part of him that thought maybe she could be hurt and was just downplaying it but he didn't want to start a fight with stranger. "I still think I owe you though. Let me buy you a coffee to make up for using you to break my fall." He shrugged in answer to her question. "Just the usual stuff: family, work, questioning if your memories are correct. Oh so I'm lucky I wasn't the one doubling as a cushion."

While it had been a shock, and she was a little sore, she didn’t want to make him feel bad about it. “I’m positive,” she insisted with a genuine smile. “It was an accident.” Tonks hadn’t cut herself anywhere and there was no blood so she wasn’t too worried about the fall. “Was there something on your mind? I mean, I’m normally pretty clumsy, but it gets a whole lot worse when I’m stuck in my head.” For some reason, his face looked slightly familiar to her, but she figured she’d just seen him around town before.

Hank normally didn't like to frequent coffee shops - too many people and he had a perfectly adequate machine at home but with two more classes this afternoon he was in desperate need for a second cup. He was walking towards the shop when he thought he saw a familiar head of hair out of the corner of his eye. He turned to look and sighed, it wasn't Janet. He should have known better than to get his hopes up. "What?" he hadn't even noticed someone approached him. "No I'm not lost. I'm not that old, I know how to go back and forth from campus to a coffee shop. I thought- thought I saw someone I knew."

chloe couldn’t quite explain it but she knew something was off. she felt as though she had gaps in her memories but had no idea what could’ve caused it. then again; she supposed her line of work often lead to a few smacks to the head in some way. she’d been heading back to the station with a cup of coffee when she saw the other. “hey… is everything alright?” the woman mused softly as she approached. “you look a little lost. are you looking for somewhere or someone, maybe?” or perhaps this was another person who’d been shoved here without explanation.

Probably, I mean not every guy I've dated has to be a good guy. There's probably at least one in my dating history that did. I did worry about there being someone else when Thor returned to Asgard after we met.

I think there may have been times where I was too preoccupied by work. I didn't spend enough time with my loved ones. And maybe I should have listened more to people's advice when it came to health things.

I was fifteen. My date to a school dance kissed me. Nothing really happened between us. We made better friends than a couple.

I like to watch reality tv when I get home from work. It's mindless and I can just tune everything out. Sometimes if I'm really deep into research I might just stay in my pajamas all day. Oh and ice cream, if I don't pay attention I can eat a whole container of mint chocolate chip in one sitting.

I have two dogs. Sirius is a teacup yorkie. Lyra's a chihuahua. I thought about naming her Walburga for a second but it seemed cruel naming a sweet, little puppy after my mother. I've considered getting a cat but three pets seems a bit much.

The answer is meant to be something deep like travel or fall in love, isn't it? Either of those sound appealing. Falling in love seems more manageable with what I currently make. Wait, why are you asking? If this is because I said I wasn't interested in joining a cause I know nothing about you are really overreacting.

I've met a few nice people lately. Laurie and Andromeda were nice. Nancy didn't seem half as annoying as her brother. If you're asking romantically no one's really caught my eye recently. Sure there are some nice looking people in town but I haven't made a connection to truly start having feelings other than just physical attraction.

looked EXACTLY like him? in fact, laurie had never seen himself having siblings - it was not who he was and not who he ever had been, but.. then again, it wasn’t impossible to not see that he and the other must have been related in some kind of manner, considering they looked exactly ALIKE. “is that so? well, i am sorry to hear it. my girlfriend has been going through the same trouble - someone from her.. past just showed up in here. it’s been difficult.” and he had been trying to support mary as much as he could and yet, he also didn’t know how to. “my name is theodore laurence. most people call me laurie, but.. i’ve been teddy once or twice, as well.” for some reason, he felt quite attached to that last one. “how about you?”

"Yeah. It makes me feel a bit better about the training I've been paying for." Regulus nodded, grinning as he watched his dog interact with the other. He really needed to look more into that supposed missing memories thing. Maybe they could explain the lookalike thing. Magic could probably do something like this right? Or maybe just explain if this was another cousin, not all of them could have the same last name as him. "It's alright. One of them wasn't so bad, bloke was just a bit strange and rude. The other one... I'm still trying to make sense of it. It was a lot. Your girlfriend? What was that person like who was causing her trouble? Was it some loud, angry, kind of scary woman?" Maybe this guy's girlfriend was another one of the people missing memories Bellatrix had hinted at. "Nice to meet you. Do you have a preference for which I call you?" Theodore - that certainly sounded more like a family name than Mike had. "Regulus Black. I've had people shorten it to Reg. Reggie too a couple times but I'm not as fond of that one."

Sometimes I regret letting Scott have the suit like when he took it to Germany and then sent it through the mail. ...There are several things I regret. I've regretted discovering the particles and making the suit in the first place so many problems came out of it. I could have- Or maybe I just shouldn't have given Janet one. She was amazing as Wasp but I regret letting her go on that mission and not being the one to- I took too long to figure out how to get her back. I made several mistakes when it comes to that. I should have found her sooner or been the one to get stuck there instead. Janet would have figured it out sooner or at least known how to deal with it, how to be there for Hope. There are many things I messed up when it came to her.

The opposite actually. I've been told I'm too hard on people and expect too much from them. I've fired a few research assistants and partners for mistakes, asking too many questions about the particles. Scott's... Scott is one of the few exceptions where I've given a second chance.

Word on the street is that [JANE FOSTER] from [MARVEL] is in Bar Harbor. They seem to look a lot like [NATALIE PORTMAN]. They’re [THIRTY-NINE] and have [ALL OF THEIR MEMORIES] in tact. Somehow they’ve managed to get a job at [STARK INDUSTRIES] as a [SCIENTIST] to help pass the time. Looks like they’re ready to settle in for the long time.

A BRIEF BIO: Doctor Jane Foster was one of the world's leading astrophysicists, the world's foremost astronomer, the creator of the Foster Theory, as well as one of the premiere experts on Asgard. She found Thor after he was banished from Asgard and fell to Earth while she and her team were in New Mexico studying astronomical anomalies. She helped him in his mission to return to Asgard, eventually falling in love with him along the way. They were separated due to the temporary destruction of the Rainbow Bridge. During the Convergence, she became host to the Aether and helped Thor defeat Malekith during the Battle of Greenwich. Once free of the Aether, Foster returned to work and Thor had decided to remain on Earth with her. Due to her work studying of the Convergence, Foster was being considered for the Noble Prize in astrophysics. Following the Ultron Offensive, Foster's relationship with Thor turned sour, leading her to dump him.

In 2018, Foster was amongst the victims who died when Thanos wiped out half the life in the universe with the Infinity Stones. Resurrected five years later by the Avengers, Foster learned that she had stage IV cancer, seeking chemotherapy by 2024. She visited New Asgard, where the broken pieces of Mjølnir reassembled themselves and presented itself to her, granting her superhuman abilities. Operating as the Mighty Thor, she befriended King Valkyrie and defended New Asgard from Gorr the God Butcher, reuniting with Thor in the process. However, continued use of Mjølnir greatly weakened her body, and as a result of her decision to join the final fight against Gorr, she succumbed to her cancer. Having died a warrior's death, her soul went to Valhalla, an Asgardian afterlife, where she was greeted by Heimdall.

"Fine, fine it's true. That still doesn't change the fact that I don't do magic. And before you start that accident with the glasses doesn't count. It wasn't intentional." He argued shaking his head. It was definitely not a safe idea to argue with her but he felt like he had to make his point. What if she got her hopes up that after this he'd be doing magic left and right and he couldn't? Wouldn't that be worse? Wouldn't it upset her more? "It was just an example, an analogy. I don't- Until twenty minutes ago I didn't think this was real so don't expect me to know what we do with it!" He shut up at the mention of a teacher. He had not expected her to offer to teach him. He thought she would just get more upset when he mentioned not knowing how to do anything. "You'd teach me? I- thank you for the offer but I'm not sure it's the best idea. You seem... very emotional and passionate. I wouldn't want to frustrate or anger you when I can't do something right." It was unnerving when she got quiet. Terrifying actually much more terrifying than the insults and anger had been. "You did? I... I'm sorry?" He didn't know how to reply to that. What were you supposed to say someone when they tell you they died or you died for that matter? "I disappeared? Well maybe I just came here. Why would I talk to my brother? I barely remember even having one. I haven't seen or talk to him in years. Mother, mother made it quite clear after he left that he wasn't family anymore." He didn't remember much about his brother, in fact he had pretty much told her everything he remembered. "If he's just a leader there's no reason to assume you have some connection to him, any sort of relationship. Why? My personal life is none of his business. Frankly it's none of your business either." He shook his head. "No I don't remember anything! The only thing you've said that I recognize is my own parents names! Why would I-" His shouting cut off when she rolled up her sleeve. He gulped and turned to look away. His own arm started itching. "I don't- I never knew what it was. It- mine doesn't quite look like that. It- The image it's not- I have- there are scars going through it." There was a part of him that had thought it was a tattoo he got when drunk in college. Mostly he didn't think about it. He didn't like thinking or looking at any of the scars on his body. "It doesn't feel like my fight. I don't remember any of this. I don't- Bellatrix, I don't even know how I made the glasses shatter. What use would I be?"

“IT’S NOT ABOUT BELIEVE. JUST BECAUSE YOU DO NOT BELIEVE IN SOMETHING, IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT IT IS NOT TRUE.” and this was growing to be a quite tiresome conversation but then again, bellatrix didn’t exactly know what to do about it. perhaps her cousin wasn’t worth all this trouble and perhaps she was simply wasting her time but then again.. well, she couldn’t exactly give up without having tried in the first place. not when it came to a black - she would need all of her family by her side for what came next. right? “we do not perform tricks for the little kids, you dim-witted fool. magic is a part of our daily life. and if you want someone to teach you? i can’t think of anyone better than myself. I, OF COURSE, HAD THE BEST TEACHER THERE IS AND.. I KNOW A TRICK OR TWO.” she had learned magic and the dark arts from the dark lord himself - something that bellatrix would always be terribly proud of. everything that she knew, it had come from him and even now, there was a certain.. reassurance, when it came to that being true. did it not? “i did,” her voice was quiet and it would have been very hard to miss to just about anyone else because to this day, it was not something that bellatrix talked about. “i stand before you now and yet, i have died in the past. it is the last thing that i remember. as for what happened to you, cousin? i don’t know. all of us assumed that you died, because.. you just disappeared. even to your BROTHER - you were unreachable.” she didn’t like thinking of sirius - the two of them had been close once upon a time and then, they had not. and then.. that was it. right? “well, of course he has meaning to me! he is the dark lord! everything that i am - i owe to him! and he does care about your personal life. after all, you were one of us, once upon a time. do you not remember this? you had one of your own, once upon a time. or do you think that it’s just some silly little tattoo, that you got on one drunk evening?” she raised her sleeve up, showing him the arm in which the dark mark was. faded, yes, but.. still there. “you will just stand aside? not fight for what you once believed in? are you a coward now? is that it?”
