It was nighttime and all were asleep.. Save for Teupu of course but he was busy with some tasks at the moment. Nix wasn't able to settle down enough to rest just yet but thankfully Kotaro was there as well. "Hey, Kotaro? Can I ask you something? .. What do you make of these underworlds we have to go through? You and I both know we'll have to make it all the way down to the bottom eventually."

It was hard to miss the golden clad figure that was Gilgamesh. Only a particular Pharaoh matched him when it came to their flashy attire. Though seeing him standing in the hall made Nix realize it had been a while since she dropped by to visit. Things had been rather busy with all that was going on.. Plus there was that prolonged bed rest she was on before that. "Gilgamesh! It's always an honor to see you.. I do apologize for not dropping by sooner. It seems there is always something to do around here, you know?"

Being in America had been quite the journey so far, having to walk all this way on foot. Though Nix didn't quite mind it, she was used to it after the previous Singularities anyway. What was new was seeing Ruler so interested in what was going on. He never participated in battles, not that she was going to force him, but seeing him like this was different. ".. So you really think we can cook these wyverns and eat them, Cecilio? Also did I see you gathering parts from those robots earlier?" If he had a hobby, that was his business but it did catch her attention and curiosity.

So that was the cause for Dan Heng's concern. It made sense, really. Nix didn't remember where she came from or even how she got to where they all met. She was an unknown upon the Express since her memories would come and go at random, according to them. One minute she would recall something and the next second, it was as if she never mentioned it. It wasn't as if she was found frozen in space, where there would be a logical explanation as to why she couldn't remember anything like in March's situation. But with Nix? All they really had was her word and some accounts in Penacony from people that did see her appear in a flash of light.

"I understand that you want to keep your friends safe, Dan Heng.. I would be careful if our roles were reversed." Except a part of her felt like she would've trusted him regardless. "Heh. Thank you for the compliment. I can tell you've met all sort of people on your journey. You don't need to apologize though.. I just hope I can put everyone's minds at ease one day."

This was going to get bad if Nix didn't intervene and quickly. If the vending machine were to get broken, the others would certainly complain about it. So the silverette made her way over to gently place a hand on the outlaw king's arm. "Sigmund, it might break if you keep kicking it.. Let me try something." Some QP was brought out and fed into the machine.. Shortly after a drink was dropped! "There we go!"

With GREAT dignity does the ever former outlaw king perform a miracle! His armored foot resting upon the floor for a second before a quick kick to the offending machine is done! and yet there is still no beverage dropped!
