Maddie and Josh in careful what you wish for

Gif 1: Maddie and Josh walks toward table at a café with a coffee in their hands. Josh is wearing a long sleeves shirt and Maddie is wearing a white shirt and a pink jacket. Josh says “Glad you came.” Maddie says “Yeah, I’m always down for coffee, but what’s going on?”

Gif 2: they are sitting at the table. Only Maddie is visible on the gif. Josh asks, “Remember your first call?”. Maddie answers “Anaphylactic shock, seafood allergy.” Josh asks “You remember the first lesson I taught you on that call?” Maddie smiles and says “Yes, you taught me to listen.” She brushes her hair away from her face.

Gif 3: Josh is sitting in front of Maddie and says “Okay, terrific. So, do that now. Sue and I were on the phone for a long time last night, trying to find a way to convince you of the difference you’ve made.” Maddie says “Look, I really appreciate that you and Sue were talking…”

Gif 4: Josh is looking proud of himself, he says “I never said that Sue and I were talking to each other.” A voice behind Maddie says “We’re gonna get through this together” and Maddie turns toward the source of the voice.

Gif 5: Maddie recognizes the voice and says to the woman “Nicole? Wait. Is Sam…?”. Nicole is wearing a yellow sweater and she smiles at Maddie and says “He’s okay. The police got there in time, and I got home in one piece. Because of you. Hearing your voice, it kept me focused, gave me hope.” as she hugs Maddie.

Gif 6: Another woman stands up, she is wearing a black top with flowers and a gray cardigan “Your voice saved my life. Even though I didn’t hear it. I was unconscious, in labor. The earthquake had just hit, and I was dying, we both were.” She reveals her baby sleeping behind her.

Gif 7: Maddie looks down at the baby and then up to the woman and her husband who is standing next to her, he says “I didn’t know what to do. You said help wasn’t coming. It should have been terrifying, but your voice was so calm and reassuring. And you got us help in a way I never could have expected.”

Gif 8: another man stands up and says “Same here. Because of you, I made it home for Christmas. Just because you said I would.” Maddie recognizes him and smile at him as she says “Brandon. Seattle.” Brandon says “My emergency was I was an overworked idiot, but you made sure they found me. You saved my life.”

Gif 9: Norman says “Hey, you saved our marriage”, his wife Lola says “I was on the edge. Literally on the edge, just lost, and then I saw my Norman.”

Gif 10: Josh looks toward the couple who’s speaking and then he looks at Maddie. Lola adds “And it’s because you found a way to get him to me.” Norman says “You helped us find our way back to each other. Maddie looks at Josh.

Gif 11: Gloria arrives wearing a blue shirt and a scarf “I probably would have hung up on you. I’m just being honest” Lola is in Norman’s arm, and she looks concerned by Gloria’s confession. Josh laughs.

Gif 12: Gloria smiles at Maddie and says “Maddie has more patience than I ever did.” Maddie shakes her head and says “Gloria. I thought that you were…” Gloria says “Took a plea, and since we skipped the trial, I never got a chance to see you again.

Gif 13: Gloria and Maddie are standing, the people Maddie saved are standing around them. Gloria says “And to tell you, I was wrong.” Maddie asks “About hanging up on people?” Gloria says “About the dead-end calls, the people that couldn’t be saved. I always thought there was nothing I could do for them, but there was. I couldn’t listened, just been there for them at the end so they didn’t have to be alone.” Maddie starts crying and says “But is that enough? I mean, I’m there for them in the beginning, I’m them for them in the middle, but it still doesn’t seem like it’s enough to make a difference.”

Gif 14: Josh looks at Gloria, she says “It’s not until it’s your emergency. And then you realize that the middle is the scariest part, because you don’t just need help. You need hope.”

Gif 15: Josh stands up with everyone else, and he says to Maddie “And that’s what your voice is, Maddie.It’s hope.”
