jokes aside i'm pretty certain that akane-banashi anime is already in the works and just waiting to be announced because

1: it wasn’t listed as an option in “manga we want to see animated award 2025” despite being older than Nue’s Exorcist which won, makes me think that it’s because it’s ALREADY going to be animated

2: in Netflix and Jump’s collab advertisement of their “anime”, Akane Banashi was in the promotional video together with MHA and Jujutsu Kaisen https://x.com/NetflixJP/status/1868973538008498527

hey!! Bandai Spirits Collector Toys department is currently running a survey about which wsj “Anime” you want them to make figurines of, and both Kagurabachi and Akane Banashi are listed as answers although their anime haven’t been announced yet!! they are specifically asking about “ANIME” so… could it be that akanenime already cooking?
