It's safe to say silent salt will be associated with the witches in some way, more than the other beasts. When it comes to their virtue of silence, I think it's most plausible that this will be attributed to the St pastry order, and their ways of 'silencing' anyone who discovers the truth.

This quote is especially important, as she uses the word 'silence' specifically when referring to murdering pastry to keep the secret hidden. And who else of note knows about the witches?

Silent Salt needing to stop White Lily from spreading the truth would be a great dilemma for both characters. Silent Salt's prototype and concept arts also have lots of veils and dark face coverings which are adjacent to the shadow sisters.

I'd also like to mention that if silent salt really was worshipping or even working with the witches, they'd be seen as a traitor and an outsider by the other beasts, who all despise the witches.

this may be a stretch, but I saw someone on tt point out that all of the beasts in their title screens are looking in the same direction, a place where silent salt would probably be. Its just noteworthy that they've been singled out in this way.

Silent Salt being an outsider is another parallel with White Lily, who is also a traiter to the ancients in a way.

I don't really have a conclusion to this I just wanted to point out some theories I have.
